Chorao Island is a beautiful and picturesque island located in the state of Goa, India. It is the largest among the 17 islands and it is known for its serene ambiance, lush greenery, and abundant wildlife, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
It is home to one and only Krishna temple in entire India, one of the biggest bird sanctuary Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Spread over an area of 1.8 square kilometers, this sanctuary is a haven for migratory and resident birds. Bird enthusiasts can spot a wide variety of bird species, including the famous Indian blackbird, herons, egrets, kingfishers, and many others.
The island is also known for its mangrove forests, which are essential for the local ecosystem and support a diverse range of plant and animal life.
Along with that we met few locals who welcomed us in their home and shared a small part of their lives and lastly we did a Feni and Urrak Tasting. Both feni and urrak have significant cultural and social importance in Goa. They are traditionally consumed during festivals, celebrations, and other special occasions.

This is what I expect from you guys and this is where your channel is different from the other channel simply because every now and then, most of the channels often talk about beaches, casinos and resorts in Goa. Awesome content shared ! Chorao island has always been our (wife and me) fav haunt since 2011 during our roadtrips which we do every year. Last year our camera gear was not working as expected so we had to retreat however this year starting 26th June we will be exploring more of the bird sanctuary. Please do share waypoints of the places you guys visited which will be helpful for our vlogs

I think mango seeds don’t always produce a tree the same as the parent tree. It is not known what kind of mango you will get when you grow a mango tree from seed. It can be better variety or bad or original. So better to get grafted mankurad mango plant.
