Thank you so much for this delightful Maine coast video. I will be using it to set the backdrop for a wonderful novel I'm teaching through with my third graders called Touch Blue by Cynthia Rylant, set on an island in Maine. I've been to Maine, but many of my Pennsylvania students have not...so your lovely work truly helps to get the lovely "feel" of the landscape, folks and homes (even the seal pup and lobstering!). THANK YOU for such a great resource!

Great video! I had the pleasure of exploring Maine with my grandmother before she passed away, It is so majestic. I'm considering moving there. I grew up on Cape Cod and have lived in CA for 13 years now and "homesick" is putting it lightly. Something about the people here, I just never have felt like I fit in.

A+++++++++++. What an amazing, fabulously helpful vacation video. You’ve shown me some sights that I need to see next time we go to that region, plus some areas like Mohegan Island that I cannot visit due to limitations. What a blessing and a treat, and such a generous act for your fellow human beings! Lovely camera work, too! Thank you!!!

Best 5 years of my life. One of the few states in which the population isn't completely broken. They did elect lepage after I left, so things might have changed.

Like the rest of the country, the state is very economically unequal. Poor inland and money on much of the coast.

Go ahead and make Maine look so idealic sure it's got a lot of beautiful sights.the mountains of Western Maine are gorgeous. The sad truth is most towns and cities are poor and run down with no decent paying jobs to be had.

djsi38t that’s no lie. Outside the coastal areas its poor as can be

Beautiful, thank you. I've some family roots that are from that part of Maine. Love the wide open ocean, the overall landscape, the wildlife and the people there I feel I could connect. Sort of torn between there and Minnesota, being 30% Scandinavian, 20% British isles, about 40% European, etc. Actually my family's roots can be traced to Maine hundreds of years ago. I research genetic genealogy and love to harmonize the beauty of the earth with the history and people who inhabit these awesome places.

Tuxedo Cat really? Interesting... reason i ask is because I was raised on island in Maine. Every year i take one of my kids on a trip. This year my daughter can’t decide between Maine and Washington But I’ve never been to WA, other than a weekend in Seattle but we were thinking ab the other side of the cascades so it wouldn’t rain everyday
