Its a great location, went a few years ago, think its been used as a backdrop to a few big fils, Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban is one that springs to mind. Some great images from there mate. Liked the final image and the edit gave it that atmosphere, nice !

Well done mate! Really hard to find anything in there. That lighting was a challenge. Every time I go there the mist clears and sun comes out as soon as I get the camera out. Not sure if you commented or watched it, but have you see my Video from Wistmans? ( black and white woodland photography ?) Oh well keep waiting for the mist I guess maybe see you up there one day

Hi Brian, will have a watch of it in a little bit, yeah its something I always find difficult, I think you need good atmosphere there to get the good shots..

Looks like a great location, needs real mist and maybe light drizzle to set the whole thing off, I've struggled with woodland photography, but have stuck at it and am starting to see compositions among the caos. The light is key and I prefer (most of the time) to work on an overcast day. Liked the video, made me want to visit on an overcast damp day in winter.

Thanks Terence, yeah totally agree you can't beat the real thing can you, think I will give it a try one day to get there in the mist.. there are quite a few cracking images I have seen photographed there in the mist.. Well done for sticking with it. I do find it very difficult, although I seem to have improved upon my prior visit..
