Hi Jordan! We had the same idea when looking into it, but unfortunately you are limited to operating the vessel in Elizabeth Harbour only. There is still much to explore as the harbour covers a large area. You would need to book a tour or a private charter. These tours usually include stops to all the places you mentioned.

We rented for 2 full days and received the multiple day discount even though they were not consecutive days. Highly recommend Minn's. Great people very friendly!

We highly suggest at least two days. One day is not enough to experience everything Elizabeth Harbour has to offer.

Hi, no bother at all! Yes, Minn’s has coolers you can rent for the boat and has ice for purchase. The Exuma Market’s dock is directly across from Minn’s dock and was our first stop after hopping in the boat. You can stock up on all your provisions for the day there, and it is very convenient. You will love Exuma and being on the harbor. Our biggest caution would be entering/exiting the small underpass to get to and from Minns. Sometimes it’s very choppy with a strong current, and the tides can be extreme right there. Another thing to consider is to check the fuel line to the external tank, if you’re on a smaller boat. Ours was somehow not connected, and we stalled out. We did find that was the problem and quickly connected it. If you have any problems and need to reach out to Minns on the radio, they immediately respond and will head your way if needed. Enjoy!

@@snjoutings One more (2) part question: is there a stereo on the boat and what type of power accessories are there to hook up electronics; phones, gopro, etc..

@@jamierudzinski8244 there is no stereo or ports for charging on the 15ft Boston Whaler we rented. You would have to check with them about the other boats. We brought a bluetooth speaker, extra GoPro batteries, and a charing block for our phones.

Great video! How boat-competent do you have to be to do this? I have very little boating experience. Also, how do you keep from getting lost out there? Thanks.

⁠@@evcoolgene Minn’s does not require a boating license or experience although it is helpful to take an online boat safety course. The staff there will give you a crash course if need be haha. We used gps and google maps on our cell phones. There is cell service throughout the harbour which made navigation a breeze!

@coffeephish thank you! This was in June 2021. The weather and water conditions were perfect!

We did not experience any major issues during our stay. Recommend going to the grocery store on delivery day to get good selection. I believe it was Thursdays for the Georgetown location. Also fuel was an issue if renting a car. Suggest getting to gas station first thing in the a.m. especially in Georgetown as lines form and fuel runs out usually before noon.

Hi! In addition to my husband’s comment, be sure to get your meats at Prime Deli just up the road from the downtown area. You might want to call them to find out the day they get deliveries. Chicken runs out quickly. Also, many stores and restaurants close by sunset or earlier. I’m not sure if this was due to the pandemic or the island’s regular routine.

Happy anniversary! We did go to Hideaways for lunch at their Restaurant, Splash. They have swings at their bar which was a fun feature. I am pretty sure you can go to the other hotels that have restaurants with the exception of Sandals since it’s all inclusive. I am not sure about Grande Isle or February Point Resorts since they are gated. Most other “ resorts” are more like little hotels that anyone can visit for food. Most restaurants are locally owned and very casual/laid back. Definitely take the drive to Santanas and Mama’s Bakery way down in Little Exuma just past beautiful Tropic of Cancer Beach. They are an outdoor restaurant/bakery-next door run by a local family. Local cuisine and delicious cocktails.
