the oregon coast is truly beautiful. It helps that almost none of it is privately owned. I love living here and yeah, even when the valley is sunny, the coast is almost always clooudy. Probably 350 out of 365 days in a year

Crater Lake is definitely worth visiting when I was visiting Eugene. It was absolutely picturesque, and I hiked to the bottom and did some cliff diving there.

Are you guys coming to New Hampshire this summer? If you do , you should hike the Mahoosuc Notch trail. It’s the hardest 1mile section of the Appalachian Trail. Lots of caves and boulders. You’d remember it for the rest of your lives.

swimming in the willamette river is crazy 💀(might not be as dirty in eugene because its sourced pretty close to there but where i live, salem, its pretty dirty and i would never swim in it

For summer training is it good to do high intensity and high miles? Or do you want to do high miles at a chill pace?

thats very much so something that depends on the athlete, but I would say relative to the intensities seen during the season, the summer is quite mild. alot more longer controlled stuff.
