9 ай бұрынToday we will be driving the Arctic Way - a spectacular stretch of coastline that is often overlooked but should be a must-see on any Icelandic road trip. We are heading north from Akureyri on the western side of the Eyjafjörður and following the coastal highway 76 all the way to the town of Sauðárkrókur.

Looks great! We were asking ourselves whether our canper van would be able to conquer the road. But it really looks fine for the moet part :-) Would be great to hear if you have anything to add

The only section I wouldn't recommend (but it is possible) is the stretch of road that you would drive if you don't take the ferry between Snaefellsnes Peninsula and Westfjords. Its slow going and very isolated... Almost everywhere else was fine.
