Welcome to God's Own Country, Kerala, where every corner is adorned with natural beauty and cultural richness. In December, we embarked on a mesmerizing journey through this picturesque state, starting from the vibrant city of Kochi and venturing into the serene hills of Munnar.
Our adventure began as we landed in Kochi after a scenic flight from Delhi. Opting for the convenience of a self-drive car from Indusgo, we set out on the road to Munnar, anticipating the breathtaking landscapes that awaited us.
Despite the approximately 4-5 hours journey to Munnar, we couldn't resist the allure of exploring more of Kerala's natural wonders. Thus, we took a delightful detour to the iconic Idukki Dam, nestled amidst the verdant hills of the Western Ghats.

whats the weather like in Munnar ? and what about water flow in various waterfalls ?

You will find better water flow during rainy season like June to August when waterfalls will be at the fullest

Also weather is usually pleasant in Munnar, you need 1 light jacket for mornings
