Krefeld, formerly renowned for its silk and textile industry which earned it the nickname "the Velvet and Silk City" is a city in the Western German state of North Rheine-Westphalia. Today, Krefeld is more known for its chemical and machinery industries and its proximity to Dusseldorf, the capital city of North Rheine-Westphalia. With a population of 230,000, Krefld is popular among lovers of ice hockey and offers a vibrant culinary scene as well as a thriving university. However, it is a pain to drive through at the moment due to several construction projects going on simultaneously. Can't wait until it is over and driving becomes easy again.

Zurzeit ist die Stadt jedoch aufgrund mehrerer gleichzeitig laufender Bauprojekte nur schwer zu durchfahren. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, bis das vorbei ist und das Fahren wieder einfach wird.
