The traffic signals on the approach side of intersections are terrible. I guess you're supposed to look straight up out of the windshield to see if the signal has changed?

It’s a bit how the rules are structured, you have to slow down for traffic to zip in. Hence, everyone knows the rules and there’s not much to look out for either while merging in or giving way for someone to merge

When you drive through Germany its one construction site after another. When I was driving from the Netherlands to Poland I went through like 10-15 construction sites which often slow you down to only 80km/h. Whats the point of having all these motorways when you will be limited to 80km/h very often. There is no need to repair good roads.

@@DrivingInGermany Manchmal ja. Besonders wenn Ferienanfang oder Ferienende ist. Meine bekannten Knotenpunkte sind dann Hamburg und Bremen. Aber ich denke, das es da noch andere Stellen gibt wo ein Stau ein Stau ist und sich nichts mehr bewegt. Und das sind auch die Zeiten wo die Blase anfängt zu drücken 😉
