I am immensely pleased to know that you belong to a family of Railways. My Nanna Ji , ( Mother's Father was also in Railways . He was from Pasroor. He remained Station Master at Khewra, Landi Kotal, Walton Cantt. He built a big house at Pasoor for settling down at his new ly built big house after retirement. Unfortunately, Partition occurred, he had to leave every thing behind. His dream remained unfulfilled. My mother spent her childhood in Lahore. She used to live in Canal Park. My father was from a rich Landlord family in Daska. Today, after seeing your video, My old memories about reignited.

Hey Nice message... My maternal grand father (Nana) was from a village MusaPur a mere 1.5 KM from Pasroor. He was also in railways. Small world , stay blessed, we have more in common than what we are made to think and the power brokers would like to acknowledge. Sir, i am regularly watching your Vlogs from the UK. I am a Heritage and conservation architect originally from India. I have commented in another video that watching your videos make me feel that I am there in Lahore visiting the places you are visiting...can almost taste the chai you just had and walking with you through Lawrence garden...maybe thats where my grand parents also walked before partition.

Sometimes my father used to mention that before partition ,We had about 100 relatives in Lahore, Pasroor, Sialkot, wazirabad, Lala Mussa, Gujrat, Dinga,. Pakpattan, Lahore.

I live near a sawami nagar lahore....My dada came to this place in 1947 and my house is at least 150 yrs old....Once it was owned by a Hindhu architecture engineer....Proud lahori❤.... Nostalgic feelings😢

Mai aapka fan hun. Aapka historical sara show dekhta hun. NJ, USA men hun. Yadi idhar aaye, to darshan den. Mai aapka NJ men host banna fakra ki bat samjhunga. History ki bahut gahri knowlege hai aur aap apne Indus valley ke purane-naye sab kuchh ko samet kar agli pirhi tak pahuchane ka bahut sunder kam kar rahe hein.

I think that’s your best video. Apart from the history of GeneralAllard ,Ghulam Rasul’s chanay brought some memories of 1982-84 when I was posted in the UBL SD Vault branch just on the Regal Chowk. I’ll post you one or two photos of New Garden Town Lahore which I took in the 60s .you’ll be amazed to see those .
