As the temperature dips below 0 in Kathmandu, we bring you the very first episode of our new series, "Ghumante Foodlog" from our trip to Nepalgunj this summer. Nepalgunj is one of the hottest cities of Nepal and we were there during the mid-summer, probably one of the hottest times of the year. Despite the scorching heat, the trip became worthwhile because of the diverese cuisine and culture.
We were in Nepalgunj after returning from a documentary shoot in Dailekh with Radha Paudel Didi. We are very impressed by her fight for "Dignified Menstruation" and understood a lot more about the ongoing issues women face all over the world during menstruation. To express our support to her mission, we dedicate this episode to Radha Didi, Anupa Didi, Radha Paudel Foundation and everyone who are involved in this fight against discrimination.
