After several months of hiatus Andrew manages to crawl out his flat to visit Notting Hill, a quiet village with a history as variable as being overrun with brick kilns, farmyard animals, race horses, rioting racists, antique traders and members of the film industry.

This was made over the span of about three months because I kept getting distracted, since I filmed it, a much more successful youtuber has made a video talking about Middlesex, which serves me right for being so lazy.
I went and had a good look around Grenfell Tower, in case anyone is annoyed by it's omission, but decided not to use any of the footage in this light-hearted video. I think there's plenty elsewhere to read and watch about that tragedy if you're interested.

Clips from 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' (1968) are used under a 'fair use' or 'fair dealing' rationale, they being used in a documentary style film to illustrate an interesting historical connection between a Hollywood film and the Notting Hill area.
