I liked this so much. Really it amazes me what Randy has built here with his own two hands. Loved the water coming over the glass. Also enjoyed his personality! He's so proud and loved showing off his work as well as explaining how the light plays on the glass at different times of the day. Great shots, editing and music, too!

Interesting. Randy is a character. So many of your adventures go to places that are abandoned or with no human interaction. Randy makes this one extra special!

What a great, entertaining episode! I would love to see this in person and meet Randy. It makes me happy to see this guy's creativity, and it's so beautiful, too. Loved the interview with his wife, as well. They seem like real, down to earth people. It was so generous the way he showed you in and talked to you about his art. Excellent! I had fun!!!!!!!! :))

Great piece. I lived in Echo Park for a decade beginning in 2000 and I recall there being a 'glass' garden in the area; I think it was all empty bottles. I know I visited it once; wish I had taken some pics of the place.

I had to brew a pot of coffee and snag some donuts before I settled in to watch this video and I'm glad I did! Very well made and you have mad editing skillz. I thought it was a nice departure from the norm where the focus wasn't just on the location and it's history, but the human side of the story. I think you captured the passion he has for this project and his personality fits the artwork. My only question is did he ever receive any hassle from the city over this structure? Anyway, great video and I look forward to next Saturday morning ;)

Thank you, friend! It was definitely a unique experience since it was both about the structure and the person. He never seemed to receive hassle for the city, he's always been brilliant and safe about building. Hopefully he'll have a few things to respond once he sees the video himself :)

You guys are awesome. If you want massive glass sculptures, head out to see Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch on National Trails Highway(Route 66) in Oro Grande. Now that's a sight.

I can't help but let out a childish snigger every time I see an American called Randy. But there to be a place called... _Randyland?_ 🤣 (We use randy like Americans say horny 😳). Otherwise, this is a lovely video, and a beautiful sight.
