Dadar Mumbai 28 is more of an emotion than a pin code for Mumbaikars.
In this episode of Tere Gully Mein, we delve into the vibrant neighborhood of Dadar Shivaji Park alongside the lovely Poornima Amre of the popular web series City of Dreams aka Priya Bapat.
We started by taking the blessing of Ganpati Bappa at Shree Udayan Ganesh Mandir. Then we dive into the mouthwatering Kala Khatta Gola just outside Shivaji Park. To savor some authentic Maharashtrian delicacies like aam ras puri, ambe dal, panha we head to Gypsy Corner. To conclude our culinary journey we went to Aswad, indulging in delectable Modak and kharwas. These iconic food spots in Dadar are not to be missed!
Priya Bapat takes us down memory lane, sharing stories of her childhood in Dadar and her deep connection to the neighborhood. She also gives us a glimpse into her acting career, spills the beans about her love life, and shares her experiences working on the recent web series City of Dreams.

This episode brings back so many memories from my childhood. Priya Bapat was my senior in Ruia College and loved to see her perform at the college fests and Ekankika spardha. Glad to see these two Dadar chya Muli in my hood...Dadar is 🏠❤ This episode could've been done entirely in Marathi 😊

खूप मस्त video 👌मी पण दादर मुंबई 28 तुमचा video बघून जुन्या आठवणी ताज्या झाल्या. मी लग्न करून मालाड la रहायला गेले. माझ्या लग्नाला 28 वर्ष झाली पण अजूनही दादर ची सर कशाला नाही. मी कॉलेज मध्ये असताना शिवाजी पार्क च्या मेन गेट च्या आधी Frankie चा stall होता आता आहे की नाही माहित नाही. पण तिथे आम्ही मैत्रिणी Frankie खायचो. पेप्सी दोन प्रकारची मिळायची एक Orange flavour असलेली आणि दुसरी milk with rose flavour. किती छान दिवस होते ते. किशोर कुमार che गाण आठवते, कोई लौटा दे मेरे बिते हुऐ दिन ❤

I guess cause thane got developed recently away from the old traditional lake city area...all new buildings in thane are away from station area and are closer to malls and new shopping districts...where as dadar, matunga, mahim are getting redeveloped right at the heart all old buildings are redeveloped now in to mid towers and are still accessible from these traditional joints..so people remain in touch with the culture.

If you are visiting a temple atleast dress decently. You people cry stating moral policing and stuff but there has to be something to follow You will not wear saree or navari to a pub right, a one piece at office, likewise temple is a place of worship . Muslims follow it, even in Goa foreigners are also not allowed in the old church without a dress code !! But yeah we are hindu, and so called educated ones !

I feel disheartened when I hear women saying ‘I don’t cook this as my husband doesn’t like it’. ‘Loving self’ by cooking fav. dishes is very important too.
