Incase you are new to the channel. We are Lou & Sylw and in this video we will take you on another trip through the beautiful country of Romania.
We apologise for such a huge delay in uploading. We have had a lot on our plates over the the last couple of months. All will be revealed in time. But for now we have about 10 videos to catch up on!
As we are currently back in the UK having troubles with the van. We are going to sit down and try to make all the videos we have stored up before making anymore recordings of our travels!
In this video we take you on a final tour through Romania. We started the video in the Retest National Park and made our way south to the River Danube. We hope you enjoy our videos and if you have any questions or even suggestions on how we can improve these videos then feel free to leave a comment below. Don't worry we have thick skin! 😅👍

The people were absolutely class from day one and often came over to offer things to us like food and water. Scotland is absolutely stunning and still one of my favourite places to visit. Romania as you said, is very similar. A lot of natural forests and lakes to visit 😍

Check also the Danube Delta next time,Bucovina region and Bicaz region with Cheile Bicazului and with it's lakes like the red lake and Izvorul muntelui lake.

Well where there are mountains and water it's usually a spectacular place to visit and Romania has plenty of that, we have pretty much any form of geological feature, come visit anytime, if you ask for directions, a lot of young people would know english. As for Bulgaria i would recommend visiting Devetashka Cave, Gods Eyes Cave (Prohodna Cave), a hike on Musala Peak is a must, it takes about 3 hours and a half from where the cable car drops you off, Kaliakra Cape that has beach nearby called Bolata, visit the towns of Veliko Tarnovo, Nesebar, the city Plovdiv

Awesome John. Thank you for all of the recommendations. We absolutely loved it in Romania and we will definitely return in the near future. We have just acquired a house in Bulgaria and we will be moving there for good next year. So all of those recommendations will be seen then! On this occasion we only managed to get to Belogradchik and then we spent all of our Bulgaria time, running a dog shelter near Vratsa! 🐶👍❤️

Thank you Paul. We really appreciate it. The weekend is here now. Get yourself a whiskey and put your feet up 😅🥃 Our dogs were a lot better in the van than in my brothers house. They aren't used to being stuck indoors, so its going to be a tough couple of months with them I think 😬😅 I am going to go back for those 2 dogs next year and there is another dog I want to get in Greece too.

Thank you Al. To be fair I do really like where Sylw is from! It's called the Masurian Lake District. Have a little google, it's in the North East of Poland. Her house is a stones throw from one of the big lakes there. Definitely do, I look forward to seeing the footage. Can't go wrong with spending the day on a kayak with a few beers 👌

yeah we have a bit of a stray dog situation, people don't sterilize their dogs then they can't afford to keep the puppies and just throw them away...it''s irresponsible and really sad, it was nice of you to take some of them!

Thank you. We thought it was going to be much worse to be honest. After leaving Romania we headed into Bulgaria and got the oppurtunity to run a dog shelter. So we did that for a couple of months and then we decided to buy a property down the road so we can open our own shelter. We are going to start next year! 👍

Hello Rob. How are you? It’s a very good question and I wish the answer was different but nope, unfortunately not! I tried to get a Visa D for Poland that allows you to cross borders in the EU for 12 months but they wouldn’t give me one. They said we would need to be married.

@@bellybutton123456 Good man, glad to hear. We are back home now in the UK doing just that actually 😂 We bought a house in Bulgaria and are moving there for good to setup a dog shelter. Sylw got residency for Bulgaria and again I looked into the Visa D but was told we needed to get married. So here we are 😅

It is also easier to get residency in Bulgaria coming from the West than in any of other ex communist countries. Could be another reason. Bulgaria is opening up and improving. The world get slowly by slowly a better place. Congratulations 🎊 on your marriage and your new destination

This video was shot over 4 months ago. We spent 2.5 months in Bulgaria. We really like how raw it is there. Not like the UK where we lived previously. Sylw is also from a Slavic country, so she understands bits.

@@octavianchilcos8863 =) you didnt pay attention that much. She speaks slavic language in "origin", not Bulgarian but Polish of course. Poland is a great country. P.s. as for Bulgaria, pretty sure they get more tourism than us... at least at the Sea side.

You like the Bulgarians or not they know to preserve and promote our Thracian heritage better than us. Same the Russians and the Ukrainians. Don't wonder if one day they will say that the Thracians was them ancestors and we came later from somewhere else.
