It’s changed a lot since the early to mid 90’s. I lived in the area back then, and had visited them sometimes on the weekend. I still have some of their newsletters, key chains, and other stuff. Totally loved that place. Thank you for airing this.😃🐅🐆😸

The visitors center at the Borax mine in Boron is pretty expressive and the museum in Boron is pretty good too. They filmed parts of Erin Brockavich in Boron as director said it looked more like Hinkley then Boron....not

I love finding these older videos. How did it end? Did the transit authority change the route? Is the facility still doing well?

Excellent. The mention of a rescue facility reminded me of Shambala Preserve, the rescue facility run by Tippi Hedren (from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds") in Acton.

I hope the state government pulls their heads out of the clouds and starts listening to it's people. We don't want the high-speed rail, we don't need the high-speed rail. It's a waste of money, time, resources and property.

Joe Exotic ran a feline farm. He'd torment the poor animals by firing guns at them. All of them were traumatized.

For this specific episode I would have preferred a bit more of the science and a bit less of the entertainment. Where are their kittens going? Back into the wild? What is the science here? Those cats are nowhere near natural habitat, cages are not natural. They’re bored, not serene. You do a great job with history, the Mt. Lowe scenic railway being a case in point; but when you do a show with living, caged animals, I want to know more about the non-profit/profit angle and the science behind the project. Zoos always put themselves forward as scientific institutions when for the most part they’re entertainment facilities for humans while being prisons for animals. Keep up the good work, but when you deal with the living, especially those in cages, tilt more towards information over entertainment.
