Oddity Odysseys has to be one of the most intriguing, nicest, most relaxing and entertaining channels there is. Your presentation is fun and smart, and giving the directions really makes the viewer feel like we are on the path with you. Great content and well done.

Well they are ALL so good that it isn't really going to matter, but FYI, this is glorious, GREEN episode that gave me a time out I really needed. I love it. Wow, Amir's garden looks lovely. I've been exploring Griffith since a few months ago. I mostly hike around the observatory since I live closest to Fern Dell and Vermont Canyon road. And I absolutely love astronomy and stargazing in general. But I really want to explore more. Amir's Garden will be my next exploration destination I think ^^ Thanks for the tour!

I used to work in Griffith Park, for 'The City Of Los Angeles' to maintain a closed down landfill named "Toyon". Once in a while playing 'hookey' we'd go to amirs garden. And having a city vehicle we could drive all the way up to the garden. It's a really nice place. It's on the top of a hill. And some times we'd even drink beer. That's how nice of a place it is. Ah yes, those were the days ! I lost that city job (career) because of drinking ! It was the best job that I ever had ! OUCH ! . . . . . . . . . s m h . . . . . . . .

I very much appreciate your videos, because as much as I like the sentiment Amir expressed, I drove to Griffith Park a couple of weeks ago to see the observatory and I would almost rather saw my legs off than go through Los Angeles again. We didn't even get into the observatory because everyone and their dog (literally in the case of the dog, great place for a dog) had the same idea. At least there was a route out that didn't take us down Sunset. So to get away to Amir's Garden we'd have to go through something more stressful than just staying home. If I lived in LA (oh man, my life just flashed before my eyes) then I suppose Griffith Park would be a getaway. Since I live in Orange County, it's just going from the frying pan into the fire in hopes of finding a tiny cool spot in the middle.

Great job capturing the garden and its history, but it would have been nice to more of the views from the garden as well. But then again, i guess it leaves that for us to explore when we get there.

Hey guys is it possible you explore LA drain system in the future does it has a history behind it worth exploring? Also what I hear about in California there is a dam of some sort with a specific drain system that make a vortex on the Lake but I cant find this anywhere.

Hi tom_p. I believe the vortex you might be referring to is the "Glory Hole" spillway at the dam on Lake Berryessa in northern California. We've had that on our list but haven't had a chance to get up there and see it. We'll also look into the LA drainage system too. Thanks a bunch!
