CYCLING THE COAST OF BRITTANY/MORBHIAN. PÉNESTIN.
The rain finally stops and the sun makes an appearance after some impressive summer thunderstorms, so we're finally able to head out on the bikes, for a tour around the Pénestin area of Brittany.
We head westwards along the cycle path straight from the campsite, first to the coast, and the impressive 'MINE D'OR' beach, exploited in the 19th century as a gold mine.... hence the name!
Onto the next beach....'PLAGE DE MARESCLÉ'...and the first BEACH TWIRL of '23!
Then onto LA POINT DU BILE, for a spot of lunch on a bench with a view.
The next day, the sun's still shining, so we north eastwards, to the quaint little
'PORT TRÉHIGUIER', and check out the little town of PÉNESTIN itself.
A fabulous few days' cycling about the glorious Brittany Coastline!!!
