Exploring The Cooneen Poltergeist House - Most Haunted House In Ireland (Vlog & Drone)

Drone flight 948. April 24th 2019, I was out storm chasing however the storms didn't work out due to issues with dew points so I instead spent the day drone filming in the Tyrone/Fermanagh area. I decided to check out the infamous Cooneen Poltergeist house outside Fivemiletown as I have always wanted to get a record if it by drone. I visited this location years ago when it was much more frightening as the house was located inside dense woodland which added to the atmosphere, however now the trees had been cleared the house stands out on a hill for all to see which worked out great for a decent view with the drone. In the past anyone could explore inside it but now the windows are boarded up and barricades block entry into the house, this is mainly for safety reasons as the building is now dangerous. It was bizarre to see a caravan located beside the house which added an almost comical value to the scene. I did a walk around the house with the Go Pro so this video is part vlog and part drone footage. The house is barred off because when they removed all the trees the wind started to destroy the house

I’d visited this location a few years back when it was still surrounded by the forest. I’m not one to believe in the supernatural but I have to say it was an incredibly eery location.

Yes same here back when it was in the woods, it was creepy, I just wish I had visited at night now, would have been a cool experience, shame its boarded up.

I never knew this kind of place existed in Ireland. I'm currently binge watching loads of haunted videos from Ireland and I'm happy I found your channel. Have you ever visited anymore haunted spots around Ireland?

@@asteroid42531mckenna Do you know anything about a haunted house in Bunmahon, Waterford? I was there as a child with my family but can't find anything on it on the net. The family that owned it rented it out to families for holidays at the time (they stayed in another house on the land) as my cousins also went to it. My mother said one night in my sisters room a chest of drawers was pushed in front of the bedroom door. She could also hear every night footsteps coming up the stairs. We skidaddled before our time was up.

My Grandad was from the area. He told me that the ghost spat at the priest who was performed the exorcism, which left a permanent mark in his cheek. He was born around 20 years after all this was going on , so this is probably the local rumour mill flying into overdrive, as I have read a few things about this, I have only ever heard that aspect of the story from him

Martin, really cool. I was even a bit goose bumpy as the drone was circling around the house and the history was coming up on screen. It would definitely have taken some courage to head in there when the house was deep in the woods. A great vlog :-)

Most of the evps in this are kind of hard to hear but if you have better than average hearing and listen back, you hopefully will hear them too. A lady says something like 'Don't' at 7:41. A guy says 'Back off' at 7:51. A lady whispers 'Fight it' at 7:55. kinda creepy. A lady says a few words that sound like 'None of your business' 7:56-7:58. It's song like at the end. At 8:04-8:05 a guy says ' ...know they always do' 8:18-8:19 a guy says in part 'Don't you ..?.. ..?.. my home?' 8:30 a guy says 'He's smart' American accent which is common in evps around the world, I have no idea why though. 8:33 a guy says 'Open that door!" American accent. it's creepy. References to 'doors' are fairly common evps (at least for me) and aren't ever good. 8:36-8:37 a guy says, 'Alvin, come!' The only one that's residual. 8:39-8:40 guy says 'They open the door' 8:56 guy says 'Listen!' loudest evp so far. 9:37-9:39 guy says 'damn STRAIGHT!' There's a couple more but I couldn't make them out. I wasn't surprised when you said after the lady moved to America it still happened.

Thanks dm for watching and taking time out to list all the evps, I will use head phones and go back over the footage to pick them out. A very famous haunted location which made the news all over the world, I must get back again.

A Catholic priest from nearby Maguiresbridge, performed two exorcisms to absolutely no avail. The haunting continued along with the family’s terror. Soon rumours circulated that the family had somehow brought the demonic activity on themselves. With no local support and now in fear of their lives, the Murphys emigrated to America in 1913. But the story did not end there, as apparently, the poltergeist followed them. Their cottage in Cooneen, now a ruin, was never lived in again and visitors say it retains an oppressive atmosphere.

I went there years ago when I was a kid and found a load of empty whiskey bottles and cans around so I believe that Mr Ghost must of had a drink problem, I think the noises at night was the fecker bumping into walls and doors coming in legless, cheers

Thanks man! yes saw the cctv camera, I wonder whats going on, I know the barriers were up for safety reasons as the place is falling apart. I heard rumours it was going to be turned into a tourist attraction but there was an uproar from a priest and locals in case it stirred up the bad energy again. Man I would love to do a night shoot there, but cant get anyone to come with me lol

Last week , one night, when I lay down to sleep, I had the feeling someone, or something was looking me over. Then , in my mind I saw what looked like an old womans face. A couple of times, after that, when I was at work, and would go to the rest room, the door would open by itself, leaving me exposed, for anyone to see. One time, when alone, in the break area, something flew across the table by me. I ask God, in Jesus name, that if something was hanging arround, that He might make it go away, and bother someone else. So far, I have had no more incidents.
