Just bought the new Fusion S Visor Bar. Do you need the Quad converter or is it like the old visor bars wiring? Since the Fusion S is single color that kinda threw me off. 🤔

Yes the Feniex Quad Converter is needed in order for the Fusion-S Visor Bar to operate

If I have multiple light heads connected can I change flash patterns for each specific light head using the button or would it change all of the light heads?

I recently bought the quad 600 but the quad converter first 4 wires are red,black,green and orange instead of white?. I connected green with green and white (led stick) to orange (quad converter) it still doesn’t work , about ready to give up on it and return it

Sorry that you are having an issue wiring up the stick light.I recommend giving Feniex Tech Support a call.They will be able to walk you through the wiring set up.1-800-615-8350

Is Feniex's Quantum line replacing the Quad line? It seems that the Quad ILB is gone, but the Quantum ILB is offered on their site.

[FUSION -S Quad 400 light stick] 4 wires coming out of the light Red, black, white, green If I put red to power and black to ground and touched one or both white and green to power (without a Quad converter involved at all) will it fry the light?

No. But you do not want to have the white and green wires touch at all.

@Ultra Bright Lightz ya, little late for that info, fried the light and Sent back to Feniex. I was told by their reseller that a Quad converter wasn't needed....and um...ya, it is needed. Thank you for your info though

@Ultra Bright Lightz also, you know how the quad converter has the 2 wire harnesses plugged into it? Well all these wires have exposed ends. Should I tape or clip them all before doing any installation? I just want the light to turn on and off, that is all.

@@thekreal8703 I'm sorry to hear that! The 32 wire harness is used to activate certain modes in the Quad products. Tape whichever output wires you aren't using just to be safe.

How many lights can 1 quad converter handle?

A quad converter can manage 6 to 8 lights depending on which ones you're connecting to the converter.

Does the quad converter have more patterns available for an interior light bar then what the actual light bar comes with? The latest quad viser bar has 2 modes, takedown & cruise built in. But the patterns dont seem to have a few that I've seen online

The Quad Converter does not add any patterns, just inputs. The Quantum Visor Bars have new patterns that the Quad Visor Bars do not have

@UltraBrightLightz that's not my question. My question is. I got cluster mix to work, but not in quad color, I couldn't get the cluster mix with all 4 colors

The Feniex Quad Cannons are not compatible with the Quad Converter

It's extremely annoying that the color/pattern buttons are the only access to these functions. I wanted to change modes through a programmed momentary button on the 4200 controller. Looks like the only way to do this is to solder wires in parallel with the buttons and set up two NO relays activated by the controller relays. Sloppy, right? I already had to use an extra relay for a pulldown function on a 100 series lightstick. It seems like everything is way more complicated than it needs to be. I'm used to addressing LED strips...I guess this niche has its own little conventions but for the life of me I can't understand why it's so convoluted. All of the frippery can be offloaded to software. Maybe it's an IP thing.

This was only a quick video to show the function of the Quad Converter. If you are doing an install you should run an inline fuse
