A tour through the heart of Hermosa Beach with Jefferson Graham from ‪@PhotowalksTV‬ The Hermosa Beach Pier is a 1,140-foot long pier that juts out into the Pacific Ocean. It was first built in 1904 entirely out of wood and extended 500 feet out into the ocean. The current concrete pier was built in 1965 and renovated in the early 2000s. The pier is a popular spot for strolling, fishing, and enjoying the sunset. There are also a number of shops and restaurants located nearby at Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza. The pier is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm.
