Exploring the largest castle in the Scottish Highlands | Dunrobin Castle and more of the NC500

Hello and happy Sunday! Here's another vlog from my NC500 road trip - the weeks are flying by.
In this week's video, I swap the hiking trails for the Highlands' largest castle... it gives major Bridgerton vibes! Just call me 'Lady Helen' from now on.
After the crazy amount of hiking I did last week, I put aside my muddy boots (my little legs needed a rest) and went on a tour of Dunrobin Castle and it's beautiful grounds.
I also make my way further north, reaching the famous checkpoint of John O' Groats!
This video is the calm before the storm... as next week I have a mega trip planned! Look out for a clue and the end of this video! It will either be an awesome adventure or pure chaos.

My wife and i were at this castle about a month ago. I loved it!. The gardens were beautiful, id like to see the gardens in the summer time must be fantastic. I think this castle is among the best ive seen in the uk.

Wonderful video Lady Helen. Fantastic places to explore. That castle was amazing with unbelievable gardens and views. Tell they loved there hunting back then. Looking forward to the next section of travels as you start coming back along the West Coast. Safe travels

Great video. 👏👏👏 Envious of the jumper that you have on at the start of the video - it looks super comfy 👍 The castle was amazing - very Disney! palace ish! And I know what you mean about trees - one near us is older than the USA!

I do the same thing with trees. I imagine all the changes they have witnessed. For example, when the first aeroplane flew overhead, the tree would be like what the hell was that!

I enjoyed your video and was sympathetic to your shock at the stuffed animals museum, but if that was shocking you should study the Sutherlands' infamous role in the Highland Clearances in the early 1800s.
