Glad to see they are salvaging every bit they find! As a Studebaker guy I can tell you it’s probably harder even for us to source parts. Unfortunately I just recently watch a video of a guy who crushed a huge lot of Studebakers claiming he salvaged anything worth of value off of them first. As I did appreciate him “saving what he could”. There was still so much useable glass, engines, and many many other parts he crushed….The worst he crushed was a Lark Daytona trim package car! These cars weather they are Mopars, GM, FoMoCo, or even Studebaker DO NOT deserve the crusher!! And I commend anyone who is able to salvage them. Awesome video!

Glad to see the youngsters keeping the era alive. I grew up when these cars where everywhere and expendable. My buddy put a plum crazy Cuda into a tree. Another friend had a triple black 70 Super Bee 383 4 speed car that he blew up trying to beat my GS. So then he bought a 70 Charger 440 six pack car which he blew up trying beat my GS (one of the reasons old muscle cars are found with non original engines, I suppose). Fast forward 50 years. A couple of months ago I ran into an old neighbor who had bought the Super Bee from my buddy after he blew it up. I asked what ever happened to it, and it turns out he still has it, kept it garaged all these years and now that he’s retired is close to putting it back on the road. I’ll be exited to see it, lots of good memories of running the streets in that car cruisin’ and boozin’ looking for chicks and the next car to race

This was cool to watch. My dad used to tell me about his car all the time. He bought a 1970 Super Bee brand new. Black on black hardtop, 383 with 440 heads and 4 spd trans with pistol grip shifter. Keystone Mags and dual glass pack exhaust. He said he'd drive it like the Dukes of Hazzard before they were even a thing. He could chirp the tires in 4th gear with 5 people inside he said. Even though he wasn't a car guy, he's the one that got me into them.

I have had dozens upon dozens of these apart and one of the main reasons they rusted so bad was that Chrysler literally missed many MANY areas with the paint and they left with bare metal and began rusting immediately. This is especially endemic of the are under the rear shelf, portions of the roof, the inner quarters etc. This is also why the old Mopars bring so much money when they have been brought back properly. Someone has to put a fortune into them and know what they are doing or they will rust even worse after the resto. Your videos are among the few I look at on KZfaq anymore, this is because you are NOT FAKE. I appreciate that. I know how easy it is to chop and edit and pull the old "I got this running after it sat 45 years and drove 4500 miles then won the Winter Nationals with it". BS, but you don't edit out the failures or try to become the big fake KZfaq star. Keep up the nice work!

As much as I like old mopars, seeing all these in one place gives me hope. Maybe someday..... I grew up in dodge trucks, and the first car I ever worked on was a 62 Chrysler 300 sport. 413 cubic inch single carb car, but had a push button torque flight, and posi 3.73 rear end. And some weird fishbowl Spedo that went to 140! I bought it for 250$ when I was 14, because the old dude who had it heard I was buying an rc car, and just wanted to give me a chance at something cooler. By the time I was 16 I could have finished the rear brakes, and put some road signs over the floor, and drove it. My dad talked me into selling it, and buying an 84 caprice classic instead.(still rear drive,v8 so I was happy). Really when I sold the Chrysler I thought I made out like a bandit(2500$). That old chrysler put me on the path. I wish I didn't get rid of it, but looking back 450ft lbs of torque, 5000lbs, and 4 wheel drums probably would have got me in trouble.

Really enjoyed the tour! I'm in my eighties now, but in 1969 I bought two Mopars. The first one was a red Dodge Coronet R/T 4-speed with a 440 -6 Pack and a 3.54 rear end. Screamed off the line. The second one was also a Coronet R/T yellow in color with a 426 Hemi and two four barrel carbs. It had a 3.23 rear end and the front end would try to float above 130mph. We used to race a lot on sections of unfinished Interstate Highway in Cincinnati OH. I bought the Hemi from a dealer who had it sitting on the lot as a cancelled order, and what I didn't know at the time was that it was one of the rarest Mopar cars available. That's because it had an automatic transmission, and years later I found out there were only 39 Coronet R/T's like it built with automatic transmissions in 1969. Hundreds of Coronet R/T's with hemi engines had manual transmissions. Still cry myself to sleep over that one sometimes! lol

Incredible video as always, I really loved the way that they’re doing their best to try and save as many cars as possible but not wasting cars either. As a Buick guy I can definitely relate to having trouble with finding good parts, they’re definitely hard to come by for some of the things I am constantly looking for such as engine parts and small chrome pieces. But also for things like quarter panels which from my research are mostly a get someone to build you a new set because they’re that hard to come by.😎👍👍 By the way, not to be that one guy. Hopefully no rules broken here, I’ve got a 66 Wildcat 4Door hardtop for sale on KIJIJI up here in Alberta if anyone is interested. Decent shape aside from the smashed up back end, she was rear ended two owners ago. Excellent candidate for restoration 😎👍👍

Awesome collection. I went to buy a radiator for my truck and he had 2 69 Plymouth road runners. One was a convertible. Which he said he made out of a Plymouth satellite. The hard top was in beautiful condition. I think it was green. The convertible was not finished. But like u said in this video. Things u dont see everyday.

I really wanna get into a project with an old car like these. Modern cars don’t cut it for me, too bubbly.

I like the modern day Cars and trucks. No points or carbs to fiddle with. They last 300.000 miles instead of 80.000 and then ready for the scrap pile. Unless we are talking about a Ford. Then 50 years later.they are still Garbage.

@@tonyfriend7413 that’s the sad part about the old cars. If you had a car that was about to hit 100k miles, then you’ve already called the junkyard and have an appointment to take it in to sell for scrap! Cars up until the 90’s were completely shot at 80k and above, and I mean shot!! Not just needing repairs, completely shot!!! Mom and dad had a number of old bel airs, impala’s, Catalina, etc and at 60k the back axle would fall out of the bel air and you’d go skidding down the road surfing on the fuel tank, lol

Wow, that place is absolutely Incredible. Good, and while you're there, you can grab a DS door for your Challenger and get rid of beat one currently on there. You know she deserves it.. Do the right thing & treat her to it! ;-) Thanks for sharing! ✌️

Amazing cars Dylan, I am 59 and back in the late 70's I could have bought light green Superbee 4 speed for $1800.00 I live outside Ottawa Ontario Canada. I think it as a 71😄

Reminds me of the MOPAR’s I owned in the 80’s. 1969 Coronet 4door sedan with a 70 383 and 727 until I messed up the front suspension then owned a 69 coronet 2door and reinstall the 383 and transmission in it.

My dad let me drive his 1968 Dodge Coronet 440 sedan when I was in HS in the late 1970s. It was just a 318 car, but I loved the old girl.

Dylan, those Pink Barracudas were called "Panther Pink" after the cartoon character Pink Panther. Mopar colors have always been waaay out of the box compared to EVERYONE else's. LOVE your commitment to Mopar and the sacrifices you give so we can all enjoy your take on he Mopar world!

Panther Pink was the Dodge name for FM3, Plymouths were Moulin Rouge. Same colour though.
