Sure!!! The Cambodian Palace was built by Thai craftsmen at that time. Because Khmer people can't build anything and has received all of its culture and heritage from Thailand. Therefore, palaces in Cambodia cannot be compared with palaces in Thailand in terms of splendor, delicacy, beauty, architectural and literary sophistication which are the originals of today's Khmer palaces. It can be said that the Thai Palace is the original or the prototype of the Khmer palace itself The Thai Royal Palace is globally recognized and has the most tourists visiting in the world, ranking among the top 5 in the world. Inside there are things worth studying. There is much to research and the great history of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and the kingdom of Siam in the past. The Khmer people have inherited all Thai culture. There are Thai teachers teaching and was under the rule of Thailand for 400 years.

@@elmirafavela3463 No. I've been to both. The Palace in Phnom Penh is more sophisticated, refined and balanced campared to the one in Bangkok, although the later is bigger in scale. Speaking about history, I suggest you learn more history from other sources besides Thai textbooks and you'll find out who was actually the origin of the khmer-thai culture, and who was learning from who overall. BTW, I'm not a Khmer and I'm not a Thai either : )

The information of the Khmer people is all newly made up. The Khmer people have been cultureless for a long time. Only Thai people have promoted, supported and helped them all along until they wanted to find their own identity and culture. Throughout the period, the Khmer people have been under the rule of other countries all their lives. The Khmer people were just slaves. The Khmer country only recently gained independence from Thailand and France. It has been a colony and ruled by Thailand for more than 400 years. What you said is like deceiving yourself. There is no pride at all. Therefore, the Khmer palace was inherited from Thailand. Khmer art is raw and hard like a stone castle. The Khmer people do not have beautiful clothing. Women will dress bare-chested like an apsara. The lower part is only wrapped in cloth. It is not like Thai clothing, which is silk because Thai people weave fabric. It is a dress for royalty or high-ranking nobles. Go look at the carvings on the walls of Angkor Wat. There is evidence that the Siam Kuk army went in to take Angkor Wat back to Thailand again.
