100% with you T. Tremonti is the GOAT. Loved My Last Mistake and all of Tremonti’s music. I have been listening to metal since the 70’s.

Love the progression of AlterBridge from their debut that was like Creed 2.0 with a better singer and guitar solos to more complex and aggressive arrangements and time signatures, with the two guitar attack of Myles and Mark! They are always melodic, no matter how ‘metal’ they sometimes can get. They just get better and better. That blend of Myles and Mark’s harmonies just doesn’t get better!

Hey T.........How ya doing? Creed is an awesome band! They have reunited and are touring this summer 2024. I have my ticket to see them live in Birmingham Alabama in August. Can't wait!!!

Back then when that album came out Mark Tremonti said in an interview that and I quote " Kurt Cobain killed the guitar solo and I'm bringing it back to life " end quote.

A estas alturas de la vida y habiendo sido testigo de toda su trayectoria musical, solo puedo decir que Mark Tremonti es uno de los artistas mas subvalorados que he conocido , la evolucion tanto compositiva como instrumental , ademas de vocal , que ha mostrado en todos sus proyectos solo es comparable con su tremenda humildad, para mí, el ya entró al olimpo de los dioses del rock y lo que piense el mainstream o los metalhead me importa una mierda...saludos desde Chile!!

The first half of the solo on farther than the sun is Mark, second half is myles. You can definitely tell the difference in the 2 styles of playing

The intro to show me a leader is Myles Keneddy who is also a phenomenal guitar player. Him and Mark switch up solos alot ,or they will trade off throughout the song. Myles is a more bluesy style and Mark shreds. The two styles compliment each other very well

It's crazy how many people hate on creed but they're first 3 albums went platinum. Selling 23 million copies in total for the 3 in the US

Agreed. They unfortunately kind of became victims of their own success, and Stapp started sucking all the air out of the room - when the real talent was Mark Tremonti the whole time. Mark is class all the way too, and has created much more excellent and interesting music (along with his solid rhythm section) after Creed ended. Unfortunately, rock/heavy metal was no longer promoted in the mainstream by then…with hiphop and pop getting all /most of the attention. Nevertheless, he’s carved out a very successful post Creed career anyways, through sheer talent and hard work.👍🎸

Somehow I got on here. lol. I’ve watched you in the past and the last one Ren, the Tales of Jenny and Screech. Not that anyone cares for my opinion, this guy has an awesome voice! Not my style of music but the musicianship is outstanding! I like it! ❤ edit: I can’t believe you just said he sounds like Cornell. I was thinking that at the very start of all these songs!

One of my top song from Creed - Faceless man. It's related to Scott's personal relationship with the Lord Jesus.

Man, I get the Creed haters but I loved all of their albums and still consider myself a fan of the band. Staap's solo material isn't that bad either. He has a great rock voice. I love me some Alter Bridge too. I haven't done much with Tremonti's solo band though...

For some reason, Scott Stapp's vocals have always rubbed me the wrong way. It's nasally with a bit of twang and he slurs his words at times. I don't know, I guess some of it is his natural way of singing so maybe it can't be helped but some of it has to be put on to sound a certain way as well, and it's that part of it that bothers me. It's why I never really got into Creed growing up. Now that I'm older, I have heard some songs and I gotta say this band was quite talented -- drumming, bass, guitar, and yes Stapp's singing at times on certain songs. I will always prefer Alter Bridge over Creed but at least I can appreciate what Creed had accomplished in it's time which lead to their great success.

Also they were not a Christian band , not that there is anything wrong with that. Scott stapps lyrics alot of times may have sounded that way because of his father's influence in his life as a pastor. Scott stapp was a drug addict , definitely not a Christian. He was so bad that's why he got booted from Creed and Mark and the boys formed AB. I've followed Mark his entire career these are facts. MARK IS THE GOAT!!
