Let's make yet another SCP out of this, in which the pill, somehow "sensing" that it is choking the taker, breaks down into particles that sink into the recipients' lungs, turning them red, and giving them the ability to breathe out a sort of healing red gas from their throat instead of carbon dioxide, regenerating anyone who breathes in the gas~

That's the weirdest thing, isn't it? When an SCP just does this one thing with no potential drawbacks or caveats. If I was a member of the foundation, something like that would unnerve me. I couldn't trust something so outwardly simple.

That's really just rolling 60% twice. The actual probability, according to the formula listed below, is actually 84%: y = 1 - (1 - p) ^ x -p=probability that an event will occur in a single chance -x=the number of chances that the event has to occur -y=probability that, across all chances, the event will occur at least once y = 1 - (1 - p) ^ x = y = 1 - (1 - 0.6) ^ 2 = 1 - 0.4 ^ 2 = 1 - 0.16 = 0.84

All this pity... You don't deserve pity, cause sure enough, I'm sure if you choose to have children, you could be a parent. A parent who will fulfill the wishes of such an ideal father. My father is gruff, if he died now or close to now, I'd be beyond sad, because I may feel a degree of antipathy for him now, but I'd have rest my head on what could've been, and why he's always been so crass. I am currently beginning to realize that's how my father shows love and it's how he expresses his faith in me to succeed.

A man in lying in a hospital bed, with the only sound in the room being his own heartbeat. As it thumps peacefully, he faintly hears something other than his organs in his room. A visitor. He pulls a chair and sits by the bed, and inserts his hand into his left jacket pocket. He pulls out a pack of cigars. "Do you want one?", he offers. He accepts, and the man helps him insert it into his mouth. He pulls out another cigar from the pack and inserts it into his mouth, before lighting the both. The visitor puts his hand onto the bed-struck man, before they both release the cigars from their mouths to exhale. After a bit of silence, his heartbeat slows down. The bed-struck man closes his eyes in acceptance before a cold flatline is audible. The visitor soon vanishes in thin air.

10:25 This gives me a theory. SCP 2000 makes EVERYONE forget about the Foundation, right? So, the Foundation could've been built 10,000 years ago, but just... deleted from memory. Then, when the founder of the SCPF is told to make it (I forget which SCP did this), the creator had already made it. Plus, maybe SCP 2000 was bigger, but then the end-of-the-world event attempted to destroy it, being stopped in the process.

I like that the Foundation have a way of being able to treat their employees well like say MTF members who after a particularly horrifying mission say when they first encountered 096 or 173 they get to go to the Duck Pond or interact with 999 or if they're injured get to go to the bear, really makes you think that there's probably doctors in the Foundation who are just that, doctors that look after the health and wellbeing of the Foundation's employees

Sadly the patch bear probably doesn't get used by the foundation. I don't know why, but SCP 348 really hit me hard. My dad once gave me a letter a few days after I admitted to him that I was academically below average, and that I felt anxious that I'd never be as smart as he was. The opening read something like this, "The only way you could ever be remotely below average is if you didn't know that you are loved, and at the risk of redundancy, I love you very much." It doesn't sound like much, but I get choked up thinking about it.
