I think this would be perfect 1 meter wide. You'd be able to put another wall of cupboards in your kitchen galley style & turn your 1 seating dinner area into an attatched L shaped counter. I'd put a cedar wooden bench in the shower. Lastly I'd definitely redesign more Windows with a view from the bed & maybe a skylight to stargaze. Right now there is zero view from the bed & you only have a lookout over the 2nd story walls of your home. Just these few things would make huge difference ✌🇨🇦 London Ontario

Should add 2m roof longer to the front and back. So the door will stay dry from raining. Easy maintenance

It would be OK if you can still climb stairs without any knees problems and don't have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night

I like the tiny home but i would be afraid of falling over the railing in the loft. Love the stairway and it also has a back door. 😊

I do love the home definitely, but one thing that instantly struck me that I didn't like was the floating staircase up to the loft. As a person with leg issues, I could not even attempt to get up there. As a fit person, yes, but not if I had weak legs that could give out and if I was overweight. Designers need to consider things like that because often it is people with disabilities that need to move into homes of that calibre because they can afford to on pensions. For me personally to get up those stairs I would need to have railings on both sides to hold onto. Think about evenings when someone is in bed up there and they want to get down to use the toilet and they are drowsy. I can imagine a leg falling through those gaps and causing a major fall. Just a suggestion.

Perhaps, instead of the patio in the back, you could add on a first floor bedroom? You would have a regular bed that you don't have to crawl out of (as an ailing senior myself, I love the idea of a sleep loft - but it sure wouldn't be practical for me!).

@@mousetreehouse6833 Yes if there was room in the plan to add a ground floor sleeping area and perhaps have a study or rumpus area up there for people to use during the course of the day, but that floating staircase worries me.

@deesmart1122 Keep in mind that these are just ideas for tiny homes. Actually, this is the first time I've ever seen a spiral staircase in this type of home, and I've viewed many on youtube. Most of the tiny homes are geared for young college-aged to middle-aged people who would think nothing of sprinting up and down ladders. I myself wouldn't have minded a few years ago. Today? Forget it! The more we speak up in the comment sections, the more tiny home builders will be aware of the need for one level living options for seniors and folks with handicaps.

I definitely agree with what you're saying. Let alone elderly or an overweight person, I was healthy a few years ago, slowly but suddenly something inside me got triggered and I now ended with RA. In good days, I can walk just fine, gotta be extra careful when going down the stairs though, but during the bad days, yikes, I can't even walk properly, let alone walking... I can't even stand properly because of the painful RA causing my right ankle to turn in. Home builders and designers need to take into consideration that while these may be only for use as a reference, it will also be good if they can make a tiny house that is elderly/disabled-friendly. Of course,this is just a suggestion, still...it's nice to know that there are people who design stuffs to help those who have problems with their bodies like me.

@@mousetreehouse6833 Yes of course, and my initial comment was just a food for thought bit of guidance to the architect to consider people's circumstances. Those homes are relatively cheap and make ideal homes for the homeless or for those on limited budgets, as well as students and young people starting off, of course. The look of the stairs was modern but just not practical for everyone in a focus group that he would be trying to sell his homes to.

Yeah tiny houses are great if you don't want to have tools or clothes or cooking supplies or a pantry, everything would have to be very very small and minimal. You would have to have a barn you would have to have a storage unit if you plan on having animals and a garden and a lawnmower and everything it takes to have and take care of a place.

I would enclose loft, put closet and dresser at short end and bed at tall end. Love the rest of the layout. Don’t see many homes this small with compact washer/dryers.good job.❤

Lovely house. I like all the windows and the back door. It's nice that it has a w/d. I am elderly so could never have a home with stairs. Only a single story house for me. If there was a way to add a bedroom it would be perfect. Very nice little house.

Great layout. Railing in loft needs to be higher to protect against tripping, etc. Solar panel on the roof would be a great add on. Buggy area? Design should be prepared for screening in porch. I lived in 350 sq ft apt so I can appreciate the design.

Very nice and could probably be built fairly inexpensively. I would put a shed roof over doorway entrances. But not change the efficient floor plan at all!

Ver nice, but I found only one problem.....you can't put your Firestone or heating stove. beside the TV. It's not convenient, the TV must be away of heat am I Wright ?

It is .... one supposes ....nice ...to have a rail and walkway to the other side of the house ...however comfortable utility of the deck would seem better served by a full protective extension of the roof ....over .... the deck .

Beautiful. Swap placement of vanity sink and toilet. Put toilet in corner, maybe with privacy partition so you see nice vanity & sink when you walk by.

That is a very nice Batchelor flat. Give me 4 of those with a raised ceiling and hallway so the bedrooms are closed with doors and high ceiling and balcony, plus a bathroom upstairs and I would live in it with my family.

Eu não sou arquiteta Mas adoro❤ construções , estou apaixonada por tiny house... sou de São Paulo, Brasil. Estou com 68 anos e desenvolvi problemas na perna esq. Como todos disseram essa bela casinha é a medida perfeita pra agora e para o futuro mas tem que adequar-se para as limitações da terceira idade 😢❤ e aqui no Brasil creio que não tem 😢
