I am so glad to read these two comments concerning the placement of furniture and the tv. I don’t understand why I keep seeing couches that don’t face the tv straight on.

This is a neat little place. I'd put coat hooks where the merry Christmas pic is, and I'd rotate the furniture to make watching TV easier. I'd swap places with the sink and stove, and I'd buy a smaller table and move it so I could add counter along the front wall. I'd buy a smaller fridge, which would leave a bit more space for more counter. The two entries to the bathroom work for me. Stand-alone tubs are difficult use with a shower, have noplace to put soap, etc. and stuff falls down behind them, so I'd either have a built-in tub or just a large shower stall. I love the back door mud room, laundry and storage area. Most of my suggestions are just minor adjustment or cosmetic things. This is a good, solid plan!

I don't think your suggestions are minor at all. IMO they are very well thought out and logical. Infact I was thinking the same thing you were about the kitchen table and the fridge.

THIS is actually a practical house plan ! I think I would love to LIVE in ! FINALLY Someone got the bathroom right ( entry from either the bedroom OR the rest of the house ! And , You even made room for a washer AND a dryer ! Good on YOU ! There's enough room to get most of the stuff in ,to , Make ME happy ( not to sure about My " DREAM KILLER " , but , that's not Your fault ) NOW it's a matter of the cost to build it !!!!

I'd switch the positions of the stove and sink. I need a window over the sink. Cooking under a window would have you washing grease off the glass constantly

Other than getting nauseous from the swooping around so much, the only problem for me is the kitchen. There’s no counter space and no dishwasher. That huge refrigerator for one or two residents is not practical. Nor is the six seater table with no food prep space. The rest of the house functional. Personally, I’d try to make room for a fireplace-living in the country means power outages in areas that get snow.

Nice 700 sq foot home except the lack of prep space in the kitchen. Not the home for me at all, even if I wanted a single bedroom.

Move the couch under the windows and put TV on Wall where couch used to be. Problem solved.

The entire layout needs a rethink. Opening the front door and being in the living room is a rotten idea. It is neither practical nor energy efficient. Looking at the kitchen it is obvious you do not cook and do not have a clue as to how a kitchen functions. Take a cookery class before you try another kitchen. This one is a fail on every single point.
