The 2 of you are amazing! You may not find missing loved ones all the time, but it sure isn't for the lack of trying. It is nice to know that these people are not forgotten. You bringing their stories back to the front of people's minds can also stir a memory that may help solve the case. And there is no way the 2 of you will ever be boring! You show well how diligent and determined you all have to be to do your aquatic detective work. Many others would get discouraged in the search or would get annoyed by the tireless drive to a new location--put the boat in--search and scratch it off the list--repeat. It is a big swamp. It's called Black River. However shallow it looks, there are layers of mire on the bottom and objects can sink very deep. You might only see the very top of a vehicle.

I remember Adam and Honey searching under the first bridge you checked. Unfortunately you didn't find Tommy Lee, but you have eliminated areas which is a good thing! Love how you guys pair up and build on searches the other has done. I used to work in Charleston and remember all the alligators in the waters. There's no delicate way to ask this, but was there any talk of foul play and that he could have been "fed" to the creatures and his vehicle stolen or dismantled to hide the evidence?

So weird yet awesome to see y'all working a case in my hometown. This disappearance was just so weird because he truly vanished without a trace. Thank y'all for trying to find answers for his family. And you would truly be surprised just how many vehicles have ended up in Second Mill Pond. 🙄 Honestly you'd be surprised just how many missing persons cases there are in Sumter.

Good thing is when you clear a body of water in an area. Your not just clearing it for the person your looking for. If it's completely clear can mark it clear for all missing person cases in the area up to the date you cleared it. You guys are doing a great work. There are only 5 channels that I'll watch about searching helping family's and recovery. Many years ago my late brother in law when off road into trees near there. Lucky for him he was found the next day. Road and bridge is high and trees and rivers down well below. Road to Columbia from Sumter.

Just to let you know Turkey creek is a lot deeper at 521 South in Sumter. If I remember correctly it's about 7 feet deep and always stayed full. It sounds like beaver may have it dammed up.

This story scares me so much where he went missing from is about 20+ minutes from me. Literally in the area where everything mostly is in Sumter. The mall. Movie theater. Chuckie cheese. Restaurants etc. how no knows anything is crazy. That specific area isn’t much water either.

Keep in mind that AWP found Jan Shupe in a most unlikely spot, in a pond, which was fairly shallow, but she was there, under water.

I moved to South Carolina three years ago and since living here I have learned one thing. Don’t ever go swimming in any bodies of water because there could be a alligator. So be careful out there.
