I’m a mom to a 4 year old autistic son who is also high functioning. One of our biggest fears is him wandering off and us not being able to find him. He has zero fear, zero stranger danger and would walk off with anyone. Autistic children do gravitate towards water so I hope they check all possible areas of water. Hide and seek is one of my son’s favorite games to play so him hiding in a garbage can could definitely be a possibility. However, my gut is telling me none of those possibilities above have anything to do with Sebastian’s disappearance. I pray for the father he is found safe and returned to the best fit parent for someone like him.
