They always check the front for tags. They used to work with Adventures with Purpose until jared Liesik who owns the company name (awp) was accused of s. assault of a minor. Now all the search and recovery companies are working under their own co. names. Cheers!

@@PlatinumIrishrose yeah, I've watched AWP from before they even started looking for missing people. That's how I found these guys awhile back. I just said that bc in the video, he didn't seem to check the front & since they were originally looking in WV, we don't have plates on the front here so I was making sure he knew Ohio does bc he's right on the border of OH here.

For us that are/were public safety divers when you find your first recovery with a known victim inside of it, it solidifies a unique proof positive that what your doing by searching and recovering a missing person(s) is strangely self satisfying feeling. While the job isn’t for everyone and that’s ok. Truly knowing your limits is a very good thing so you don’t get involved in a situation thinking your all macho and can handle everything with no problem etc and only find out your freaked out and now a diver needing rescued him/herself. As a side note, it really depends on the temperature of the water and depth and length of time under the water which does greatly make the victim either recognizable or not and possible buried in the muck the waters may have. So you actually seeing a victim is somewhat rare unless the incident was really fresh, just happened. Here in Alaska our waters are cold enough that the victims do have a pretty good and somewhat intact torso/body to be confirmation you’ve found the right target, even if the vehicle has been submerged for quite some time. As you probably imagine that do to our water temps, sadly most of our dives were recoveries. I only was a part of our States Dive Rescue Team for a short 12 years before being medically retired or else I’d happily still be diving today. So it’s good that you know your limits and don’t cross them so you don’t become a potential victim yourself. Please everyone Watch Your Kids Around all Open Waters! And if possible take up a CPR/First Aid Class. The life you save could be one of your own family members or friends!! Stay safe all!

Sometimes one team will find vehicles that another team missed. Doesnt hurt to search where another team has already looked.

AWP and Chaos Divers have searched for Karen. If I remember right, Karen was at the Mountaineer Casino in New Cumberland, WV. When she left she didn’t go north which is the direction she lived but went south. I think it was Lindsey that said Karen’s last cell phone ping was in/near Steubenville, OH. That is 10-12 miles of river. Depending on weather conditions it could carry a car a little further. I don’t remember if they said which side of the Ohio River she had been traveling. It looks like Jeremy and Adam searched the West Virginia side. Jacob and Lindsey have done a lot of searching and diving on the Ohio side.

Or places she could have been put a single, woman late at night is a prime target I know you focus on a possible accident but have you questioned the police if other women at that time interval came up missing ?

@@Mbradford I understand that but to ask about t he possibly is a sensible thing to do and an entirely possible thing and Nug has looked for murder victim before his choice snd no matter what he decides I am backing him but it opens a different perspective

That’s true, if anyone looks into Karen’s case more, there is also speculation that she may have been a victim of Israel Keyes. HOWEVER, that has never been confirmed, but is highly speculated.
