Let’s make a super fun explosion mini booklet like this! This is my Design Team Project for the Digital Collage Club. In this 2nd of 2 episodes, I am continuing with the page decorations, adding the covers and a closure.
Measurements in cm:
2x covers: 11,5 cm x 11,5 cm
3x base cardstock: 21,5 cm
10x backgrounds for squares: 10 cm x 10 cm
Measurements in inches:
2x covers: 5 "x 5"
3x base cardstock: 8.5" x 8.5"
10x backgrounds for squares: 4" x 4"

It is so creative and beautiful. Don't know what that eight is but it's a 10 for sure. So different from a regular Journal. A great gift for someone who is not a journaler but appreciates the work and the beauty of it

I made one of these about a dozen years ago for my cousin's husband's birthday. I loved it so much, I made one for my niece when she turned 10 a couple of years after that. I love all the interactive elements you can add to it because it's like a treasure hunt. Mine were way more colorful and modern looking, but I love the style you did on these, too.

Although I do a very different style of journaling than you do, I always love to watch your videos, they are so calming. You have a lovely way of talking and everything you do is done in a manner that just seems so ordered and peaceful. Morning Barbara, what a magical and gorgesso little booklet. It looks soooo very difficult, all that mathematics that was involved with the folding and cutting. I am hopeless when it comes to something that needs precise measurements, my brain just hurts when it is confronted with something like this. It is a wonderful video, booklet and idea.
