Loy Krathong And Yi Peng Lantern Festival got out of control. This fantastic event with thousands if not, millions of lanterns was a little different this year. A hard explosion overwhelmed us but overall, it was a festival we will never forget.
Loy Krathong also named the festival of lights and started sometime in 800AD in Sukhothai 425 km from Bangkok. It slowly turned into a great event that’s celebrated now all over the country. Together with the Yi Peng festival where people in Thailand, Cambodia, Lao and Myanmar celebrate the 12th full moon of the year, Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand is the place to be.
