guys i had the same "bug" as you all but appearntly i missed the first item so it stoped the entire quest just track your steps and get the items,now tyvm for this video was very helpfull made me finish the stuborn quest

Im trying to play ever game i Play to the platinum throphy. But for this game and the thropys are totally INSANE! THOSE quests fn crazy!! And then collect all weapons and all armour all rings all spells etc. INSANE !!!

@@SyIis That's reductive though. I go for the platinum trophy for all of my games, and this one in particular is going to be a grind. To 100% other games doesn't require as much!

@CalebDekker No, I'm saying for once a platinum is actually 100% of the game, not 50-60% I agree it's a crazy grind, but at least it's one that feels earned. I 100% games by accident just from play time.

There's a statue of monster on the bridge next to Dunmire(in the final dialogue) If u interact with it, it'll give you umbral seedpod... another quest but dunno for which quest...maybe it needs for umbral ending?

Keep in mind that you can no longer acces his wares after you give him the umbral tome, I gave him the ravager rosary after and I couldn’t buy the sword nor the set

Either rest or save/quit and restart your game, that'll refresh his or any npc inventory. Resting at a vestige usually does the trick

@@katakunakun1497 unfortunately he moves to the next area if you rest, he was at Molhu when I gave him the rosary, I rested then he went into sunless skein, his shop wasn’t available there either, then I found his trinkets in Dervla’s boss room. I will meet him once more in Mothers Lull, maybe there I will be able to buy it but I still need to save up for the Scouring Clump.

I gave him the umbral tome now he is in molhu room saying "to the tower crusader". I can still access his wares for now

@@FreakinFlameGaminghey mate, I'm a lil stuck ATM. I can't rmbr exactly what he was talking about but he was talking about some book? And everytime I "talk" to him he just says "the book lampbearer, see to it". I've progressed all the way past tower of penance and I've alrdy got the umbral tome as well but I have no clue as to what book hes talking about. I was thinking it might be the book of sin but I'm fairly certain I've done that one alrdy. Not too sure though. You wouldn't happen to know what I need to do next would ya?

@@adrianmark7820 its gotta be the book of sin. Go to bellroom vestige. Turn to right and run past those pilgrims all the way out to the platforms in pilgrims perch. Jump across to hanging platform then across to the other platform. At the end there is a ladder going down, take it. You will have to go into umbral to see the bottom area where the book of sin is, right below that. You will see those moth flying enemies down there. Book of sin is in the middle of that area. Its easy to miss if you don't go into umbral down there

Quest is bugged for me. I’m at the point where I am supposed to give him dark crusaders call from harrower Derva, but when I talk to him there is no option to give it to him. Have followed this exactly. I’ve quit out of the game, warped out, tried everything. I emailed the dev support team and they got back to me this morning. Hopefully they fix it soon

For fuck's sake. I literally just gave him the Perception Wisp before doubling back to the Forsaken Fen to get the Vanguard Rosary, and now I can't buy the Vanguard armor because he's in the Sunless Skein. I like this game a lot but obtuse spell triggers like this are starting to really annoy me.

I spoke to him at mothers lull and carried on with game , about to open castle door then I decided to double check and when I went to the mines to get his stuff it wasn’t their 😢

My question only is if you do this quest will it cancel any other quest ? I’m paranoid of doing something then having side quest disappear for progressing too far.

Nope. There is few quests that can conflict with each other. Damarose quest completable only if you target Inferno ending. Iron Wayfarer quest completable only if you target Umbra ending. Byron and Winterberry, Drustan and Melchior, exacter Dunmire, Gerlinde and Sparky, Stomund, Thehk-Ihir and Tortured Prisoner quests completable without conflicts but you can ruin/miss some of them Andreas of Abb, Isaac and Kukajin quests have bit of conflict, to finish them you need to fight Lightreaper in Upper Carlath (4th encounter) with all of them, but you can summon only 1 NPC, you can start fight, Andreas will assist you, lose it, it will progress Andreas quest. Then, if you preordered game with Dark Crusader class, backup save, summon Isaac for the fight, get achievement/trophy for his quest after killing Lightreaper, get your save back and kill Lightreaper with Kukajin.

@@XizzianoIf you mean map directions, It's not even about that for me. I was raised on Gothic 1,2 and Morrowind games. I love when the only marker on game map is the player and that's it. in Souls games most quests can be failed if a you didn't talk to a random NPC in the world, who was never mentioned by anyone else. Sometimes you didn't know that you picked up a quest. A journal and a hint, of what the quest is about, could be enough for me.
