In a self defense context this is really all you need. This is a long weapon out of the nothing, ideal when someone is already in the reach area but not too close. And yes, it would break like at the first swing but it created sharp edges and a reach expendable weapon focused on cutting and keeping the distance is what you need in a real context. Because it's flashy, boosts your confidence, creates space, maybe could transmit some ligma with a bruise. Not gonna say I would prefer this over a good knife or an actual baton but this costs like at most 5$ and it does what I would expect from this price.
