My mother was in the South Tower just above the impact zone and no part of her body has been identified after all these years if it even still exists. Some days it still feels like a nightmare you wake up from.

Never saw this footage before tonight and the image of the second plane roaring into the south tower was unbelievable at such close range😢.

People often mistake these for explosions but in the first few minutes at about 8:55-9:03am about 10+ people fell from the 92nd and 93rd floors on the East side down into the Plaza due to the fire encroaching their entire floor. You can audibly hear them hitting the ground at 5:09, 5:40, 6:08, 6:53, 7:15, 8:15, 9:46. There is video of this taken from a couple in the Millennium Hilton overlooking the Towers. Then later on you got 18:28, 18:32, 21:33 and 23:47. So people. There were no bombs going off. It was people literally exploding on the pavement.

Am I the only person that's never seen this angle? How are these guys so calm? Are you freaking kidding me? It's like they were waiting for it

The guy was so incredibly chill when the plane hit. He didn’t even put the camera down to protect himself. Good on him! His reaction was calm, almost as if he didn’t realize what had happened because he was seeing it through the lens of his camera

Everything around the perimeter is gonna be blocked. That’s crazy because just this morning seeing the Statue of Liberty, I was actually thinking that if some people wanted to do a terrorist attack, the statue would be a symbol to target. It’s on an island and easily reachable/destroyable and it means liberty too but this (meaning the WTC) is bizarre. I mean it looks like a terrorist attack, we don’t know but… That’s really a whole floor/level meaning what’s above it is…. And how do you put out a fire like that?! But I wonder what’s burning so much because it is mainly concret and glass… maybe the furniture? » The other guy says « wow someone is falling » « Where? » « In between both towers. Someone threw themselves » After the plane hit : « Fuck did you see that? Are we dreaming or what? » Then he says in English he got it on tape. « Hey that’s crazy, do you know the structure dude? A plane crashes into it, it doesn’t collapse! That’s incredible. » The other guy «what's incredible/unbelievable is that a plane just crashed into it in front of our eyes. » 1st guy « but the plane completely disintegrated?» Other guy : « that was a suicide then or it was remote controlled? » 1st guy : « meh no it cannot be remote controlled. I never saw anything like this. That’s really… unbelievable unbelievable. That’s something, really something. » Other guy : other people are falling. The woman asks them in English if they saw the plane hit and then says that they hit both buildings. 1st guy : « Oh the 1st building was also a plane? Ah… that’s why it’s (burning so much) Other guy : "look someone is falling on the left" 1st guy : « ah shit Oh la la. These people have no choice (but to jump) That’s quite radical, those were big planes (responding to his friend). In fact when you know you are gonna die… (talking about the jumpers). I wonder if I really filmed it. I know I saw it with my eyes but I don’t know if I got it on the tape. But that’s surreal. You are looking at something, you see a plane. It came like this… I was telling myself 1st I thought it was a helicopter that was getting closer I was wondering if it was going in front or behind then realised it’s a plane that’s crashing into it I didn’t know anymore if I was dreaming or what! (incredulous laugh)» After the collapse they are talking about where to go. They think that staying close to the water is where the smog is gonna clear first thanks to the wind coming from the sea, they also talk about trying to find their friends.

I used to love going on top of the observation tower. I still cannot believe those huge, beautiful buildings are gone. It was the first time I ever saw a Matryoshka Doll which were being sold by a female Russian vendor. I also went for a job interview and didn't get the job.

My grandfather was in the South Tower, he was above the impact zone and he went down to the impact zone but unfortunately since the tower held for 56 minutes, he was not able to go down.😢😔

To see this angle of the second plane hit at 9:58 is soo heart breaking. It still leaves me speechless! My heart hurts for those on the planes to this day! Just as so unfair to lose your life this way! My heart still hurts for everyone that died Sept 11th!

The roar of the plane and how you don't actually hear the crash until about 1-2 seconds after the plane hits the tower is just eerie.

This angle impact really gives you an idea of how fast that plane really was traveling. It's incredible The fact that plane is flying at twice its normal cruising speed. Then impacting the building. It just doesn't seem real.

This is the clearest video i've seen of the south tower impact. When the plane hits the building you can clearly see that large hole open up.

Every time you see a puff of smoke and or papers shooting out is a floor collapsing from above. I saw one video I think it was the one with Edna Citrone waving where a window blows out just bellow her and I swear that it’s a person getting pushed out by the air pressure due to the collapsing floor. So so sad.

According to witnesses, the smoke and even the heat from the North building could be felt in the South tower. AND THERE WAS NEVER AN ORDER TO EVACT THE BUILDING
