2 things Mythy: You can get the death knight set, but it is way later in a secret area in a dungeon. Second, you can tell if there is a statue of Marika by looking at your buffs, underneath you stamina bar, the buff looks like the statue. Edit: The dungeon name is "Darklight Catacombs".

Mythy, the furnaces are weak to giant pots that use their visage as an ingredient. it takes 3 pots from a high place to down one.

It's a little counterintuitive, but you actually toss hefty fire pots into the armoured furnace golems. It overheats them or something I guess.

Death Knight armor location: (In a dungeon called darklight catacombs found in the south Scadu Altus region) After going through the start of this area you will cross a small bridge and find an elevator that takes you down to a more open area. Go down the first staircase, kill the imp on the left and before you go down the second staircase you will notice a tiny section of the guard rail is missing. Carefully drop down to the small patch of platform and be careful of a mage on the right side corner as you enter the room. The set will be on the left on a body. you missed a major thing in the catacomb. In the big room where the guy shoots the spell, you can get on top of the thing that crushes you. There's a really cool secret there if you want to find it. I don't want to spoil more. Have fun searching for it

Tip: keep the margit shackle on your bar and use it every few rooms when in dungeons, it will reveal hidden walls in a wide area

Fire pots are what you need to use, there’s a letter you can find that mentions not getting fire pots anywhere near the furnaces once they’re going Ps in that dungeon you missed an ash of war and a shrine that gives you a transform able sword

Myth! To kill the furnace golems with the leg guards you need to get a cook book that lets you craft a certain hefty pot it does massive damage on them but requires their visage, its located under the big bridge in the first area! Hope that helps

Light Greatswords' attacks also chain into each other more than others. Light rolling/backstepping/running attacks all chain into the light attack string at various points. The first attack in the R2 string chains into the light attack string. And the running heavy chains into the light attack string, and one heavy attack which then chains into light attacks again. In other words: R1>R1>R1>R1(>R1?) Don't remember if there are four or five hits runR1>R1. . . backstepR1>R1 . . . rollR1>R1 . . . R2>R1 . . . runR2>R1 . . . runR2>R2>R1 . . .

to kill the wicker-basket you need to hit him with 3 hefty furnace pots they do about 35k each

You need hefty FIRE AND FURNACE POTS for taking out the furnace golems. 3 furnace pots or 5 fire pots throw into their basket and they go down.

For the fire the giants you can knock them 3 times by hitting the same leg to get a golden stab on him which does a lot of damage

Hey myth, if you go into the big area with the spike crusher in the catacombs you'll be able to jump on it when it comes down and turn your sword of light into a dark variant, also PS you can only have one per playthrough so maybe use it first

Mythy, as much as I love seeing you do playthroughs of stuff, I REALLY wanna see you do some ER PVP, especially with new weapons. If it's not your thing, I get it, but I really wanna see you using the 3 new forms and some cool weapon and AoW combos in pvp.

You need to go back and do the Monk Missive thing still too. It leads to one of the coolest weapons in the game

in the catacombs there was a weapon you missed that is higher up you have to jump in a hole at the side of the spikes then you use that weapon you get to go to a pillar which you'll find exploring later in the game

Mythy you can focus on a single leg and crack it just like the fire giant. He stumbles first and then falls down after which the crit to his visage did half hp for me.

Hefty Furnace Pots. Counter-intuitive, I know, but that's the way to do it. And make sure you have one Furnace pot saved for later on in the DLC.

hi mythy please explore the catacombs again. you can walk over the spike traps to access areas especially at the one with the mage that shoot ricocheted magic

So at some point you may find a sword encased in stone, if you take that stone sword to a sacred alter that is in the dungeon with the traps you can break off the stone and get one of two versions of that sword.

For the big furnace guys with the armored feet you have to throw a hefty furnace pot into their head from a cliff. The recipe is under the big bridge in the starting area. It's not really worth it though.
