So basically this song was created for the worlds tournament where all the teams from around the world come together to face and see whos the best. It was in korea this year hence the k pop song which they preformed live before the finals. K/da is a fictional group made up of the 4 league characters but sang by real idols to represent them. Also yes they are all playable and these are skins for the characters now. Hope this helps in some way.

@@hightagedproductions1376 Yeah it had nothing to do with Worlds, except that the video was dropped right after the Live Concert at the start of World's Finals and the live performance was a crossover with famous KPop artists popular in Korea...I'm sure they didn't plan this ahead of time with the months it took to do the animation work and production on the song and knowing since last year that World's would be in Korea this year.

@@JamalHakiRR Oh absolutely! They all have their respective zones/lanes that they occupy in-game, but they are all good picks, for sure. I've personally seen these champions played a lot, even before the K/DA scene.

Yes, these are playable characters in the game (I ABSOLUTELY STAN AHRI!!) and this song is an advertisement for these four characters’ new skins in the game that you can buy and play with! This video premiered as the opening song at the LoL world championship in South Korea, where they had the singers perform live alongside projections (i believe?) of the characters.

The reason for this video is to simply sell the skins ( those are costumes in game for the characters Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai'sa) Riot puts it like if those characters formed a kpop band and promote it with this awesome video. But its simply to sell those skins for around 20 bugs each.

Riot (the makers of League of Legends) has actually dabbled in music before. They already have a metal band called Pentakill with six characters from the game that have put out two albums now. This may be more than just a promo for worlds (their big tournament). This could be another group that will produce actual albums. I'm excited to see where they take it.
