They call us the Worm Herders because we go out to the remote valleys to obtain soil samples that may contain nematodes and other fauna that hold clues to understanding the Antarctic food web. In this video, the Worm Herders show you how to get these microscopic critters out of the soil and, eventually, onto a microscope and into a data set.
