Hi Grace, I turned 31 in April so I’ve been having a little existential crisis, if I’m being honest. Things have been difficult but I’m trying to stay positive! I’m autistic and receiving support from adult services. It’s strange to be learning how to live in my 30’s, I wish I’d been able to do it earlier! I’m so many years behind everyone else and hoping I can still achieve something. On a happier note; My recent obsession is frozen fruit. I’ve been buying the bags of prepared frozen fruit from Asda. There’s a summer berries one and a more generic one with apple, blackberries, strawberries, melon, grapes etc and I keep popping to the freezer to get more, I eat them while they’re frozen. It’s actually great, especially since the weather is getting warmer

Good to see you, Grace. I've been home delivery shopping since before the pandemic with Sainsbury's. They kept me on their priority list during lockdown. I used to book the 7/8am delivery and a few months ago it started to be delivered late. I now book the saver 7/11am slot which is cheaper and it arrives between 7/8am. Loved your Auntie Grace bit and loved the way your darling little niece smiled at her Grandma/Nanna. So cute.

Grace I dunno if it's a "new obsession" necessarily But, I will be light on the details, my ex repeatedly SA'd me throughout the relationship in 2019-2020, and I went through a bunch of other traumas and struggles. But all throughout April I finally wanted to do something about it, then yeah, earlier this month I joined a gym and have been going there and loving it! I feel like I'm reclaiming my body and who I am as a person! Again, no details, but some of the SA was related to the gym, and just with how bad my anxiety was in general, I kept crying randomly every day and feeling a fear I haven't felt in a while. Yet I went, I did it, I spoke to people! And I have now gone 3 times in total! I sorta became inactive and stopped pushing myself, gained a ton of weight, and let my trauma and anxiety control me. And if you told me even last year I would have been that person going to the gym every morning? I never would have believed you! Yet even though (cause health issues) it exhausts me and feels like it's destroying my body, I feel so much happier already and like I'm getting back parts of me I thought I lost! So that is my new obsession, just going to the gym, reclaiming my identity, and taking back control from my ex!

My new obsession is metal detecting! Hubby bought me a metal detector and I completely lose track of time, sweeping that thing back and forth and digging in the sand. So far no pirate booty discovered but I've found lots of beer bottle caps, tent stakes, a whopping 15 cents, and 2 Hot Wheels cars. The anticipation when it finds something is so much fun!

My current obsession is receiving a produce box from the local farm collective every week and trying to eat the plethora of fruits and vegetables before they go bad. I'm eating them breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus snacks. I seriously hope I can keep up because I know it's good nutrition.

Tesco delivery driver told me you’ll never get a delivery at 07:00 as that’s when the team meetings for that delivery shift happen 🤣. As they’ve got a full hour load at that time, it will push everything else further back by at least 15mins. Couple this with roadworks/accidents/road closures due to laying new tech pipe etc!!!!! As for spiders, I have a whole cocoon of babies hatching on my dustbin😆 (at least 50 of them) Oh! And rhubarb -technically - is not a fruit it’s a vegetable .... brilliantly sour and goes well as a side with certain savoury dishes

Just a little tip with hand blenders. I bought a plastic one not knowing that after a while it would turn discoloured and bend. So now I have a metal one which is perfect.

Oh, my sister in law, (who happens to be from England) has been living here in Canada since she was 18, and won't tell you how old we are now ..... anyway if her car had that many spiders, she would never enter it again unless it was professionally cleaned and double checked by her husband for at least a week....lol!!!! Our car was invested by ants at one point while we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, because of a banana peel (left by my huband) in the car....horrible feeling every time we got in the car. Current obsession(s) - Georgia Mooney (she's such a talented musician/singer but she's also so funny!! She's a comedian and an artist. So cool) and her albums 'Full Of Moon' and 'Full Of Moon Acoustic'. They're so angelic and beautiful, literally every song is a work of art. HIGHLY recommend. AND her podcast "Fwends" with two other Australian comedians. It makes me genuinely almost pee my pants with laughter and we all need more of that energy in the world
