Extraordinary is somewhere between a sitcom and an existential crisis: an eye-popping, shocking, hilarious, and bittersweet comedy about finding your way in the world, when all you’ll ever be is ‘ordinary’.
Season two picks up where season one spectacularly left off, following Jen (Máiréad Tyers) on her journey as she enrolls as a client at the power clinic. Jen soon discovers that the process of finding her power isn’t as easy as she hoped, and things in the rest of her life aren’t smooth sailing either. Ex-cat, now-boyfriend Jizzlord (Luke Rollason) has had an unexpected revelation about his past, and Kash (Bilal Hasna) and Carrie (Sofia Oxenham) are attempting to be totally mature and dignified about their break-up, which is not easy when they’re still living under the same roof.
It seems that Jen and the gang are dealing with new levels of adulting and chaos that none of them are prepared for.
Season two of Extraordinary drops March 6 on Hulu.

Welcome to a world where everyone over the age of 18 develops a superpower. Everyone except for 25-year-old Jen, who feels like she’s being left behind. Luckily, Jen’s flatmates - Carrie, Kash, and a mysterious stray - keep her from falling into a well of self-pity. Adrift in a big, confusing world, and armed with nothing but a bit of hope and a lot of desperation, Jen begins her journey to find her maybe-superpower. But in doing so, she might discover the joy of being just kind of ok.

At this point, Jens power either has to be something really really awesome to take this long to manifest!! OR, it's something so minute, so invisible and small that she's actually had it all along and nobody has noticed.

@@22espec If I remember correctly, he only found out during the very last minutes of the last episode. So we don't know what happens after that. I was just referring to the scene with her mom.

Isn’t it sad that to us that’s normal now? If people don’t get enough “sameness” it feels too unfamiliar and they stop watching… views go down, show gets cancelled. Happens so dang often!
