In this video we'll learn how the extratropical cyclones are formed. That is why extratropical cyclones are sometimes called mid-latitude cyclones. This concept is part of climatology topic in Geography which is very important from UPSC, CDS, IAS, NDA, SSC CGL, and SSC CBSE ICSE school exam point of view.

5:00 Why does the warm front air splits into two?
@ayushidwivedi4946
@ayushidwivedi4946 3 жыл бұрын
@@abhishekanshuwali3808 It is due to contact between warm air(moving due to coriolis force) and east flown jetstreams (occurring 12-15 kms above the ground, to know more about jetstream check 2:11). But the upward motion of warm air in the low pressure area doesn't stop till 10 kms. (Ex: Just like when you try to move your hand near your nose, creating a current of air in order to change the direction of smoke coming from agarbatti/incense stick towards you but the smoke still comes in your direction.) Thus, using the same mechanism of given example, the motion of warm air splits into 2 different directions. I hope you understand the point now.If not yet please comment it too.

Coriolis effeect bend air to right in northern hemisphere... while warm air deflected... there is a space created of low pressure area...which is then filled by cold air...thats leads to anticyclonic circulation... and the central low pressure area is then filled by another dry air from upper atmosphere from polar area as that air descend down. Thats creats whole Cyclone condotion. When all warm air lift up(= occluded front) no warm air left...all become cloud and then no cyclonic circulation exists...cold air moves normally to equator and cyclone gete dissipated
