Amazon sells seat covers for the back seat for parents to use when their kids are in car seats. It protects the seats for all that gunk you showed!

Pro Tip, if you take one of those like portable steam machines and like steam the back of the seat or the seat in general it gets rid of any kind gunk pretty easily and makes things look pretty shiny afterwards. I will steam my seats and any kind of sticky residue and it comes off SO easy afterwards.

A friend told me to use a spray bottle with water on furniture and car uphostery (I added grapefruit and lemon essential oils to it). Then when you vacuum the stuff that was stuck to upholstery comes off much easier. I have a dog that sheds year round and this trick works on the car and living room furniture. And your car looks like mine and my kids are older lol. You're real and I love it!

I was close, I guessed 25. My tip for keeping a tidy car, no matter where we have been or how long our journey is/was, we take everything out of the car that doesn't live in it when we get home. Even if it means a few trips to the house. It helps when it's time to clean it. I love upholstery cleaners!! Love cleaning videos. They are so therapeutic. Thanks for sharing!!

I just stumbled across your channel and I have to say it is so refreshing to see a realistic car cleaning video! Lol some people post “car disaster clean w/me” and it’s just like a Walmart bag and a gold fish on the ground. You.are.awesome!!

I try to take out all the snack wrappers and big pieces of food (besides the crumbs) + anything she brings in the car (socks, shoes, cups, toys, etc.) every time we get out of the car. I also keep a grocery bag in the front for any trash I we accumulate while driving (straw wrappers, receipts, etc.). Then I vacuum it probably every 2 weeks. Makes it a lot easier to maintain the mess! Takes about 2 minutes every time we get out of the car just to pick up the big stuff & 20 minutes to vacuum every 2 weeks, vs the hours of mess to clean up if I don’t stay on top of it!

For captains chairs you can use a t-shirt over the seat back. I’m not sure if you’re able to in your car though,if so it’s an easy fix for messy feet.Please make sure to attach the tether on your forward facing seat?it didn’t look like it was attached.

😂 thank you for making me feel like I’m not alone in this. I cleaned out my car this morning and found an entire garbage bag’s worth of trash, plus probably 1/2 a load of laundry and 10 dishes. But instead of goldfish crumbs, I had graham cracker crumbs. I definitely didn’t go into quite as much detail as you did with your cleaning, though.

We have the Graco 4ever too and it is a monster to clean. Have to watch videos every time to put it back together!

I just found your channel this past week (now a subscriber) and have been going back watching your previous videos. Great car clean! I do want to point out since you spoke about car seat safety. I am a certified child passenger safety technician/instructor. Since you switched your oldest forward facing you need to make sure you are top tethering her car seat. It’s that hook that was dangling from the top back of the Safety 1st car seat. It connects to the top tether anchor points on the back of the vehicle seats just below the head rest. This is a MUST safety feature and helps prevent head excursion (forward head movement) in a crash. Also, Your vehicle seats need to be in the upright position when installing a car seat. That information is found in the vehicle owners manual under child restraints. Lastly, Seat protectors are not allowed on every car seat manufacturer on the market. While Graco & Safety 1st (Dorel) allow them but other manufacturers do not. I would be careful recommending anything car seat related for liability reasons.

Here are some tips I recommend trying to help keep your car cleaner 1. Buy and use reusable sandwiches bag for the girls snacks one you will save waste and money over time. Two get a cereal container put a plastic bag in it and use as a trash can. Three like you said definitely invest in car seat covers for the girls car seats. And four buy a lily brush it will help get hair,dirt,and crumbs out of the carpets. Hope this helps

I think the biggest downfall of me having leather seats is that I can't use an upholstery cleaner on it 😭 we have to detail the CRAP out of my car so we can sell it because we can't fit 3 car seats in my current one 😬

I just watched your video on your other Chanel and since I have no instagram I just want to say I’m so sorry for your loss, and I couldn’t help but be furious at the people in that surgery you went to, like seriously I am very angry 🤬!! I too went through a miscarriage and also had a terrible experience which im not going to even describe ... it’s tough but guess what? Channels like yours helped me at the bad times seeing your girls grow and watching your family vlogs gave me comfort and hope I guess, it’s ok to grieve so take your time, but also don’t let your self go, you have two beautiful girls and nick that need you to be healthy and well. It took me a year to get out of my darkness and it took a toll on my mental health and that’s not right, I pray that the Lord may give you strength to get through this in Jesus name! So on both my my greco car seats on the tags that normally get cut off when you get it has the cleaning instructions most of them state to use cold was on a delicate cycle. Then air dry. If I could post a photo of the cleaning instructions off both I would.
