I love watching all your videos, but especially the wild swim/dip ones! I swim in the river all year round on Dartmoor and regularly in the West Okement. I have to wear my neoprene socks (mainly because of the rocky river bed) and gloves otherwise I'm not sure I would last very long! Well done and Merry Christmas!🎅🎄

Wow skimming in this weather, well done. Last week and the week before has been very icy and snowing quite a bit here on the moors. Yesterday it was still icey on some of the bodies of water but I reckon it’s gone now due to the mega amount of rain we have had today. Great video Keep up the great work

Great video and interesting tour de force around Dartmoor… but there have been accidents of people falling through ice & unprepared. Maybe a disclaimer to the dangers🤔

When I went into meldon when it was icy - I had to take off sea shoes as they kept slipping and just wore cotton socks.y toes were proper frozen lol. My mates cossie froze to a rock the week before 😂

I've been doing some ice swimming the last couple of weeks and have found the colder it is outside the easier it is to get in the water. I have the same problem with the hands though - 2 minutes immersion of the hands in ice and I'm finished.
