Devaz 48 yeah it’s for all sorts of things. Lights left on, doors left open, keys left in ignition etc etc. So if you start and American car with the doors open, the chimes go mad lol

In under -15 C conditions I always let the glow plugs do their thing at least a couple of times before even trying to start the engine. The crucial thing is to have your battery in good condition... There are also a lot of different diesel fuels available for different times of the year.

What a lot of people don't realise is, after the glow plug light goes out they continue to heat for at least 10 to 15 seconds.

They do not start in the cold... The hot starter motors warm the engine gradually untill the engine wants to start lol.

see in this situation, what i would do is get a heat gun out, wait for it to heat up, then attack the oil pan and block with it, then once the block and oil pan is mildly hot to the touch, then shove it into the intake manifold, turn the key and hope.

Stary nie jestem, bo mam 22 lata a pamiętam nawet -37 u nas w lubelskim, tylko to gwoli ścisłości było przy samej ziemi, więc nie wiem ile było na "normalnej" pomiarowej wysokości, może z 2 stopnie więcej. Ale w sumie w samochodzie miska olejowa jest przy samej ziemi, więc to się liczy ;) Tylko ja byłem wtedy dzieciakiem i nie odpalałem żadnych sprzętów, ale szkołę zamknęli;)

Lol. Vw like always rubbish. New ignition motor needed. Again... Good vídeo. I had my c class from 97 with -32 degrees and start it up at first try. Its a gasoline motor obvious.
