Genie+ is Disney's new "skip the line" service and it's...COMPLICATED. There are a lot of rules to know and tricks to use it successfully - how much can you REALLY do in a day with it? Molly is headed to not one, not two, not even three, but ALL FOUR Walt Disney World theme parks on a quest to ride the biggest rides across the parks with Genie+. Is it even possible? Excellent video!!! The tips and tricks are always spot on and greatly helpful. Editor - great stuff as usual (dramatic music for the 120 minute rule, the cheeseburger pod eating sequence, letting us listen to Molly singing while racing for the monorail...). Luv how Molly thanks cast members (like when tapping in). They work so hard and get so little recognition. The competitive Molly even got to include test track - one could tell she had that as a personal goal for the day (BTW thanx for the Pinocchio reference while in line). Even got Concourse B for Soarin'!!! Such a fun and informative video - keep up the wonderful work!!!

Thank you Molly! Between you and AJ at DFB my hubby and I are excited to return to WDW after 5 years of not being able to go between kids graduating and COVID! We were a little concerned how much it would take to navigate the parks with Genie/Genie+/FancyRides! Watching all these videos has us prepared! Can't wait to celebrate Valentine's Day and Hubby's birthday in a couple of weeks!!! So thankful for all the tips and tricks! 👍

Looking forward to the perfect day series. As whilst I appreciate the genie+ experiments and vids done so far. Mixing up genie+/lightning lanes with also using stand by lines is probably what I'll end up doing when I finally get there. So thumbs up, for that idea.

Hey! I'd been watching several of your videos on Genie+ to prepare for our trip with our son. My family and I were at Magic Kingdom on 1/19, and my wife said, "Hey, that lady has a DJI, too!" (she uses a DJI for her videos) and I turned to look and this lady with blonde hair and gray/white outfit with mouse ears goes flying right past us in a hurry holding her DJI steady-cam. I was like "I think that was Molly from KZfaq!" We were right by the entrance to MK when we saw you. I tried to say hello but you were booking it! Ha ha! Now I see you had to get to Big Thunder Mountain RR for this challenge! Thanks for the videos, they really helped us have the best family vacation of our lives!

When we went on the safari recently a full sized rhino was getting ready to charge our jeep! Thankfully it didn’t! We saw a flamingo with its wings open with a stunning pattern. Molly you are amazing! I could never do this challenge. Fun to watch.

Thanks Molly for showing us all 4 parks in one day! Genie + was totally worth it for us! We have a member of our family (dad) who is not a fan of waiting at anything. He's a great sport but the Genie + made the trip much more pleasant for all! Sad but true....we paid the $$$$...I guess that's what Disney is counting on.

That's true. But I think this video is more a way to give you tips for specific rides and using Genie+ as opposed to promoting this as a game plan. You can still use her tips for the type of vacation you want.

I love that you guys do these experiments. I just wish that you would go as a tram of four, so that people with family can get a better ideas if Disney genie plus is worth the money. My family and I were there in November and we where only able to get on two rides. I’d love to see you were an outcome would be now. Thanks

you don't select your party until after you're given the time, so it's fair for all. if she can get it as a party of one, you can get it as a party of 4 or 6 or 8.

It just seems to me that this new system doesn’t allow for being ‘in the moment’. As soon as you check into your ride you need to book the next one. I feel like I’d spend my whole day on the phone instead of focusing on being with the family and watching the kids enjoy Disney. Am I off base?

I did the same with the old fast pass system. It became a challenge for me and I loved it! Haha!

This was also an extreme version of using the system. Most people don’t attempt to visit all four parks in a day. Videos like this are just fun ways to share tips and tricks to maximize the system. The same information can be used for a much more laid back day.

Just back from Disney (didn’t see Molly 😩) and we used genie + 2 days. It definitely helped us with park hopping to get those main rides in. We learned so much more this video we did not know! It takes a few tries to master for sure. Remember to keep refreshing and don’t book times out to the end of the day. Try to keep them tight

After using Genie+ in Disneyland and trying to help my friend use it in Disney World last week...good lord it is so much easier to use in Disneyland. I hope World implements some of the differences but I don't think they will since it sells out every day.

Another fabulous video as always! I do have a suggestion. When you do these park challenges it would be helpful to know the crowd levels (1-10) of each park for that day. 12 rides/4 parks on a crowd level 5 or 6 may be possible but what about days that are 8-10 crowd level? It helps just to have that context.

Ha, I did my own four park challenge on February 1! Through a combination of rides with short waits, Genie+ and single rider lines, I was able to hit 11 rides, 3 full shows, and a fireworks show!

12:40 - soooo we were that family of 5 that showed up late for 3 attractions (SMH) and i'm talking like 45 minutes late. For the first attraction, I think it was Toy Story Mania, we mentioned we were late and if they would still allow us, he said go ahead and scan. It turns blue for several seconds but while you're still holding your magicband up to the scanner, it will eventually change to green and he said have fun! Not condoning our behavior, but if you are running late, definitely don't take it as a loss, go and scan and see if you will let you through! I was fully expecting not to be let on, in fact, I was telling our kids that we were not going to ride, so was totally shocked at this! Also, you can get into your attraction 5 minutes early with Genie+!

Haven’t been to Disney since 2009, but we’re planning a trip for next year with our 5 year old so I’ve been watching all of these videos. Wow does it look so much more complicated than I remember. The Genie+ stuff stresses me out just thinking about it 😅

Regarding the grace period - we were running super late because we had an LL scheduled after a park hop and we were able to scan into Star Tours about 12 minutes after our normal time (the touch point still turned green). If I had to guess, maybe it's up to 15 minutes late? It also might depend on the ride though, since Star Tours isn't super popular.

4 parks and 3 rides power park plus you can use genie +. HS first get 7am genie+ for slinky dog to hopefully get between 9-10am then rope drop rotr, next knock out smugglers run then will be time for slinky dog. After slight dog look for earliest genie plus around 2pm at Epcot for test track or frozen and while waiting on those knock out soarin and whichever you didn't pick for genie+, next I'd go AK because they close around 7 or 8pm. Grab a genie+ for Kali, dinosaur or everest then hit the other 2 while waiting for it. Final stop magic kingdom. 3 there I would do probably pirates, then splash mountain, thunder road or haunted mansion and if there's time seven dwarfs or space mountain on the way out. Sucks having to wait until 2pm to get to second park.

Was that rule that she said changed about how you use to be able to book 2 rides at a time once you kicked in the 120min rule. I went to Disney first week of December trying to do the same but didn’t work. Thought I was doing it wrong but later videos revealed Disney caught on to the loop hole 🙈😅

Question! Say I am a resort guest. At 7am, I go in and book slickly dog at 11:30am, get Rise for the afternoon, could I then immediately go back into Gene + after booking Rise and get a lightning lane for say 10am since I activated the 120 minute rule? Or does booking that 120 minute rule option only apply once I am in the park or once the park opens at 9am? I hope that makes sense.

Park hopping on june 3rd. Starting at HS (getting everything done) until 1:30ish. Skyliner to Epcot. Pay/Ride on cosmic rewind. Then Ak for icecream coffee and everything at Pandora, ending it on Everest then spending the rest of the night at MK! (Looking to spend 4hoursish at MK) think it’s possible?

Self professed DW expert here .... but we have grown over the years ... our next trip there will be 16 of us. So I heard you say around the 22 min mark that genie is first come for parties 1-12 ... what happens after that?!?

So I caught Test Track and Spaceship Earth… but what are some of the other attractions where you have to double tap vs being able to get to fiddle fiddling right away??
