In these ads for wood splitters, there are never any knots. Everyone feels like Paul Bunyan when they're chopping up that kind of wood. But I always have logs that are full of knots and that I just can't split, nohow, no way.

The small shredder with no chute or safety guards, I call that one The Little Nipper. So very easy to get your fingers in there. The small branch catches your sleaze, chomp chomp goes your hand.

They are pretty fast but they look like a lot of the operators would be called Stubbs, Lefty, and One Mitt.
