Today we got to film with the World's Greatest Freebord Riders! We start out with an incredible display street skating at our skatepark and then we move to the streets of San Francisco and Freebord down the winding Lombard Street! These Freebords are absolutely insane so we hope everyone watching shows the team some love and leaves a supportive comment below! Down Lombard street... INSANE!

How do u even buy a freeboard 5x? They are stuck on preorders that are not even in stock to purchase.

@@MC_605 I got a brand new one on eBay from someone that got one during the pandemic, but ended up losing interest in it after waiting for the board to come. The 5x is in REALLY high demand, but the Freebord 5 model is probably just as awesome (it's essentially the standard design but with highly modernized materials and construction, as well as with the option to use the new Boro center wheels which are AMAZING), so it's worth considering that since the prices on the 5 will be lower. I paid $670 for my Freebord 5x, but then again, it did come with both the red AND blue upgrade springs, as well as with the Boro center wheels, adding to the expense. Totally worth it though; the 5x is SOOOO much fun to use. :D

I always love seeing freeborders at Braille. Been riding for around 15 years now and the community here in europe is so awsome. Been riding with Bentley in Austria a long time ago. Cool to see him here again

Still waiting on my board 3 years after supporting the campaign. They posted monthly updates, now at number 37 or something like that, I believe. UPDATE: The board arrived last week, 2 months after initially writing this comment!

This video was a ton of fun. Totally shows how diverse America really is. Western US coast; Cali, a bunch of paved hills, "Let's build a new board to shred 'em with!". South eastern US coast, flat ground and a bunch of dirt; VA, NC, SC etc. "Let's jack up our trucks so we can drive through the mud when it rains!". I'm so glad that I live on the southeast coast, at least for now, lol, I feel like I'm gonna be a late migrator to Cali and be new to the state at 45 and so out of place that it's not even funny , or maybe it will be... any comics looking for a roast base lol. PICK ME!

I started Freebording a few months ago and it’s been a great journey so far. I waited 2 years on the indegogo for the 5X and it’s definitely easier to use than the older style, or the standard 5. I can’t do any freestyle tricks, but I have a few downhill clips of my first few hours. The biggest difference for me was when I switched to the blue (soft) springs which were much better for my weight.

The best thing is doing long slides anyway any angle and it's so silent and smooth. I never could ollie my whole life but those foot covers are so awesome. Allows non skater's to get air safely.

I went reverse and learned to freebord before I ever stepped on a snowboard. It's a great way to introduce someone to the concept of snowboarding. First time I stepped on snow, I was afraid I would make a fool out of myself. Freebording made snowboarding feel natural.

Freebord's are the sickest board out there. Like you said it's bit weird when first trying but once you get confidence you can ride anywhere you want not having to worry about not being able to stop safely. First tried when was 35yrs old and just make sure I wear protective gear as you will slam every now and then like on anything. Boards feel so smooth sliding with DaBlues on. I ride 85 board

As a veteran snowboarder with over 32yrs on mountains who's also been skating even longer I think even at 43 I'd quickly catch on to these "Freeboards"

YOU WILL. Especially the 5x! I recommend buying second hand before splashing on the new boards, but if you like riding Freebord even with a used model, then go for it! That's how I did it! :D

I spy a new mini roll-in, guessing its for the vert dog. I have a horribly wonderful idea for yall. Time for another franken board, there are so many different kinds. Snake boards, snow boards, freeboards, long boards. All with different wheels, trucks, hardware. Do the braille thing and make an abomination. Also given how godly JD is on a ripstick, it'd be fun to see him on this.

An analogy to compare the curve and skim or what ever is say in vehicles, you can drift a corner, it'll look koo, but you're ultimately missing out on speed compared to say an f1 that doesn't drift...if that makes sense lol it's harder to describe than in my brain lol

It's true, these things go pretty slow if you're carving right. But it also lets you bomb massive hills and spin around without feeling like you're going to die!

Yo braille, have you guys heard of Matt Tomasello? He's a gnarly skateboarder who modifies skateboards, and does crazy tricks with the crazy boards he makes, like moving parts and folding parts. He would be perfect to have on, look him up if you don't know about him yet.

I bought and started riding one when they first came out. I got top of the line 85 with dablues and it cost over $600. Didn't have new style trucks either so had a few nice faceplants. How much is electric in Australia

I got one quite a few years back, and I love the idea, but the fear of becoming a meat crayon is a bit too high for me. Snow is not as intimidating as rough concrete

After using my 5x for the past few months, I've been adoring it. Sure taking a fall here and there sucks, but with the 5x I'm in control much of the time, and its such a joy to ride and use. I can't wait to keep bolstering my skills, and hopefully one day I'll become a Freebord pro myself! :D

Dude, I'm an awful skateboarder too, and its one of the things that got me into Freebord riding! Nowadays people oftentimes are in awe of what I do with my 5x! Its so much fun! :D
