Check out all the amazing extreme activities at Olympic Park in Park City, Utah. This is my experience doing the extreme tubing down the K64 and K90 ski jumps.
Check out all the extreme activities Olympic Park offers here:

I went on a beautiful Saturday at 1pm and only waited about 15 minutes for each ride. Skip the lift hill and hike up - it'll save you about an hour per ride.
In case you're wondering, you start at the top of the landing hill, so you start below the actual jump. K64 and K90 refer to the distance (in meters) from the jump (our starting point) to that horizontal red line - 64 meters or 90 meters from the jump, respectively - the spot where skiers are anticipated to land.
The first one (K64) is fun. But the K90 is substantially more exciting. It's a lot faster. You can probably tell by my reaction after each ride. So if you go, definitely do the K90 as your second ride.

I've lived in Coalville Utah for over two years which is only about 10 minutes northeast of Park City and I haven't went tubing yet! I go to Park City all the time though. I'm going to definitely do this next Summer!

I was just in park city a couple months ago. Did the coaster thing and slide thing, which was by one of the lifts. I get confused with all the mountains but wondering if this is a different part than where I went to.

Yeah, each resort has their own summer activities, with slides and coasters and zip lines and mountain biking trails. This was filmed in Olympic Park, which is separate from Canyons or Deer Valley or even "Park City" resort. So you could have been anywhere.

How much does it cost?

They've updated their pricing. Looks like now you only have the option of buying the "Jump Pass" which is $65, and that includes access to the Extreme Tubing plus all the other fun stuff like zip-lining and the alpine slide. -Brian

I read that you can't have hand held cameras but you did. Will they let you hold a GoPro on a short hand grip? Thanks
@PerfectLittlePlanet
@PerfectLittlePlanet 6 жыл бұрын
You're right. The rules say no handheld cameras, but the people pushing you off the top didn't care (at least not on the day I was there). There's a chance they'll have you put it away, but unless something drastic has happened since I went, it will probably be ok for you to use yours. Have fun! It's awesome. -Brian

Didn’t look vertical
@PerfectLittlePlanet
@PerfectLittlePlanet 3 жыл бұрын
When I say it's a 140 foot vertical drop or 200 foot vertical drop, I mean that's the total elevation you drop. It's not literally a vertical drop. At ski resorts, that's how you refer to the mountain's height - from the top lift down to the lodge is a 1500-foot vertical drop, for example. Saying it's a 140 foot hill sounds like that's the length of the hill.
@kilianwozniak1124
@kilianwozniak1124 Жыл бұрын
why are you saying "vertical"? its not much more than 45 degrees
@PerfectLittlePlanet
@PerfectLittlePlanet Жыл бұрын
Right, when I say it's a 200 foot vertical drop, that means the bottom is 200 hundred feet below the top (elevation). As opposed to just being a 200 foot hill (because it's much longer than that). The hill itself (I think) is only 32 degrees.

@@PerfectLittlePlanet oh ok. you could have just said "elevation drop" or something to make it easier. I see now. its really a fun place

This goddamn free music is nearly ubiquitous, and completely awful. Three thumbs down 👎👎🏿👎🏼

Yeah, it wasn't quite as bad 5 years ago when I made this video, but now I kinda cringe. I still don't think it's "three thumbs down" awful, but yeah, it's pretty ubiquitous and we creators need to step up our music game for sure.
