Duck hunting season 2023! On this hunting trip, we ventured to Atlantic tidal waters in Nova Scotia, Canada in pursuit of black ducks! We travelled in heavy winds via boat to a duck blind and threw out 15 decoys. This is what waterfowl hunting is all about! The decoys were Avian X flocked black ducks.
Guns used: Browning A5 (12 Gauge \ Kicks High Flyer Modified).
Ammunition Used: Kent Bismuth (3in #4) and Kent Fasteel 2.0 (3in #3 Steel Shot).

Really enjoy your bird hunting videos Logan. I roared when you said you were going to be calling the ducks by mouth. I grew up bird hunting with my dad, and we always called ducks by mouth, but used calls for geese (Faulk’s Popular Goose Call PL-22). My buddies used to tease me relentlessly about my nasal ‘quacks’! 😂 I also enjoy hearing you refer to the decoys as ‘tollers’ also. You’re the only person besides my late grandfather that I ever heard regularly use that word. He was from Ostrea Lake, and I believe you are from down that country also, so it may be a provenance thing. Keep up the great content. Really like your sea trout videos also. I have some old b&w photos of my Gramp holding up strings of beautiful trout on sticks, from back in the day. Hope you had a good deer season, if you hunt them. Enjoy the rest of the bird season, and the rabbit season ahead!
